2023澳門大學英語演講比賽成功舉辦
澳門大學演講隊與澳門大學英語中心於4月13日成功聯合舉辦了2023澳門大學英語演講比賽。
本次演講比賽以“人文主義”為主題，匯聚了6位優秀的選手參賽，並邀請到來自澳門大學英語中心的三位老師Azita Kuok, Joshua Lee , Mr. Michael Lichtenstein及澳大演講隊兩位教練張怡昕和Natacha ILagan作為評委。參賽者們自信大方，以新穎獨特的觀點展現了自己對主題的深刻感悟。
經過激烈的角逐，最終工商管理學院、呂志和書院的馮彤彤榮獲冠軍，社會科學院、紹邦書院的肖姝瑤榮獲亞軍，工商管理學院、鄭裕彤書院的劉雅心榮獲季軍。此外，人文學院、馬萬祺羅柏心書院的尹安琪，工商管理學院的余詠琦，社會科學學院的王嘉琪都獲得優異成績。
比賽結束後，三位來自英語中心的老師對比賽進行了評價。他們都對選手們令人印象深刻的演講表示讚賞，並且欣賞選手們將自身經歷與講述觀點相結合的做法。他們也非常地期待選手能在今後的演講中做出更多的創新。
本次比賽亦獲得了來自各個學院同學的熱烈支持，相信不論是參賽選手還是觀眾都通過這次比賽感受到了演講的魅力與演講內容傳遞出的思想力量。
UM Public Speaking Team and English language center successfully co-hosted the UM English Speech Contest 2023
The UM Public Speaking Team and UM English Language Center successfully co-hosted the UM English Speech Contest 2023, with humanism as its theme. Six outstanding contestants from the UM Public Speaking Team and ELC Center participated in the contest. We were honored to invite three teachers from ELC as well as two coaches from the UM Public Speaking Team — Ms. Azita Kuok, Joshua Lee, Mr. Michael Lichtenstein, Ms. Zhang Yixin, and Ms. Natacha ILagan — as judges for this contest. All contestants presented their ideas with fabulous performances.
After the fierce competition, Feng Tong Tong from FBA and LCWC, won the championship; Xiao Shu Yao from FSS and SPC, won the second prize; Liu Ya Xin from FBA and CYTC won the third prize. Yin Anqi from FAH and MLC; U Weng Kei from FBA and CKPC, as well as Wang Jia Qi from FSS and CKPC, all achieved excellent results.
All judges were invited to provide feedback on the speeches towards the end of the competition. They conveyed their appreciation of the impressive delivery and agreed with how the contestants used their own experiences to illustrate the topic. They also look forward to more speeches with refreshing and innovative ideas in the future.
Students from different faculties were attracted to this speech contest and admired the splendid performances of the competitors. We believe that after this precious experience, the attractiveness and power of speech can be deeply felt and appreciated by both contestants and the audience.
