Academic Year 2026/2027 – Application for Student Medical Insurance Exemption
*FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 (01 August 2026 – 31 July 2027) ONLY
Students who meet any one of the criteria specified in the UM Student Medical Insurance Fee Waiver Guidelines (Attachment #1) may apply for an exemption from the UM Student Medical Insurance Scheme for Academic Year 2026/2027. Upon approval of the application, the successful students will be exempted from paying the medical insurance fee. The application results will be announced by mid of September.

Application period: 01 April – 31 August 2026 (Late application will not be accepted)

Required documents:
1. Declaration of Medical Insurance Exemption (Attachment #2);
2. Proof of exemption criteria, such as:
– Insurance plan with hospitalization coverage in Macao (coverage period: 01 August 2026 – 31 July 2027)
– Acesso a Cuidados de Saúde (衞生護理證)
– Oral defense date confirmation (for postgraduate students)
– Out-going exchange period confirmation
2026/2027學年 – 學生醫療保險豁免申請
*僅適用於 2026/2027 學年（2026 年 08 月01 日至 2027 年 07 月 31 日）
學生如符合（附件#1）所載的醫療保險豁免規定內的任一豁免條件，即可申請2026/2027學年的醫療保險豁免。倘豁免申請獲批，同學將無需支付相關保險費用。豁免申請結果將於9月份公佈。

申請期：2026年04月01日至08月31日（不接受逾期申請）

所須文件：
1. 醫療保險豁免聲明書 （附件#2）
2. 豁免憑證，如：
– 自行購買的保險計劃，必須包括澳門的住院醫療保障（保障期必須包括2026年08月01日至2027年07月31日）
– 衞生護理證
– 論文的答辨時間證明 （研究生）
– 參加交流計劃證明
