In the afternoon of 01 April 2026, to give students broader exposure to Macao SAR’s media platforms and to encourage their understanding of stage operations, the Student Resources Section led students from the “Stage Management Programme” on a visit to the television studio of TDM — Teledifusão de Macau, S.A. The visit focused on behind-the-scenes and studio operations to facilitate exchange and learning.
Upon arrival, public relations personnel from TDM’s Communications Department guided the tour and provided detailed introductions to the stage facilities, backstage areas, and front-of-house setups.
The group toured the audience seating, lighting control panel, broadcast control room, recording studio, and dressing rooms, among other areas. The students then watched a short video introducing TDM, which helped them understand the production processes and operational modes behind TV and multimedia programmes, live broadcasts, and recorded shows. TDM’s PR team gave a comprehensive explanation of the station’s structure and job responsibilities and answered the students’ questions about news and programme production. After the tour, the PR team also introduced available internship channels to the students, enabling them to explore diverse career options and plan their futures.
