Percussion Rush: A Symphony of Rhythm
Experience the heartbeat of the University of Macau! Established in 2007 as the Macao SAR’s first collegiate band, the UMSB is proud to present a rhythmic spectacle this semester: “Percussion Rush”.

Moving beyond the background, our percussion section takes center stage to showcase pure energy, technical precision, and musical artistry. From thunderous power to delicate grooves, this concert highlights the essential “drive” that gives music its soul. Join us for an evening where rhythm knows no bounds!

Concert Details
Celebrating the 45th Anniversary of the University of Macau:
UM Symphonic Band Percussion Ensemble Concert “Percussion Rush”Date: 13 April 2026 (MON)
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Venue: E31 – Student Activity Centre Theatre
Audience members are kindly requested to arrive 15 minutes before the concert begins, as the performance will start promptly.

Ticketing Information:

1. Free tickets will be distributed at the Student Resources Section Office (E31-2007) starting from 1 Apr 2026 at 10:00 a.m., during office hours.
Office Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
2. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each student or staff member may collect a maximum of two tickets.
3. Please present your valid student/staff card when collecting tickets.
4. Tickets are non-transferable and not for resale. Any person found violating this policy may be subject to penalty.
5. The Student Resources Section reserves all rights regarding ticket arrangements and event admission.

Smart Point & Whole Person Development Award Programme
Students who attend the entire event will be awarded 1 Smart Point under Item 15: “UM Competencies (CS)” – “Cultural Engagement” in the Whole Person Development Award Programme.

Please note the following Smart Point regulations:
1. Students who arrive late or leave early by within 10 minutes will receive half a Smart Point only.
2. Students who arrive late or leave early by more than 10 minutes will not receive any Smart Point.
3. Students who leave the venue for more than 15 minutes during the event will not receive any Smart Point.
4. Students must check in and check out of the event using their valid Student ID Card.
5. Students who fail to respect the event or do not follow staff instructions may have their Smart Point cancelled. The Student Affairs Office (SAO) reserves the right to interpret and administer the Smart Point scheme.
