A Night of Pure Pulse: Reflecting on “Percussion Rush”

Last night, the University of Macau vibrated with a different kind of energy. The University of Macau Symphonic Band (UMSB) took a bold leap, moving our percussion section from the back of the ensemble directly into the spotlight for our special showcase, “Percussion Rush.”

It was an unforgettable evening where rhythm became a language of its own. From the thunderous resonance of the drums to the delicate dance of the mallets, the stage was transformed into a landscape of power and soul. We moved beyond “keeping the beat” and instead invited the audience into the very heart of the music’s pulse.
