UMSB “Return with the Winds” Concert Concludes with Resounding Success, Celebrating UM’s 45th Anniversary

The University of Macau Symphonic Band (UMSB) successfully concluded its semester concert, “Return with the Winds”, at the E31 Student Activity Centre Theatre. This year’s performance held special significance as it commemorated the 45th Anniversary of the University of Macau, paying a breathtaking musical tribute to the institution’s legacy of nearly half a century.

The concert featured a dedicated ensemble of student musicians, instructors, and conductors. The repertoire spanned from timeless classical masterpieces to vibrant contemporary wind literature, showcasing the collective harmony that has defined UMSB as Macao’s premier collegiate band since 2007. The theme, “Return with the Winds”, symbolized the revival of live symphonic breath and the triumphant homecoming of musicians to the stage.

“Seeing everyone enjoying themselves so much was our greatest joy”, said the conductor. He expressed profound gratitude to the University for its continuous support and thanked the entire behind-the-scenes team—including those responsible for visual design, lighting, and stage management—whose hard work gave a visible “shape” to the wind.

The event was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of UM’s academic and cultural excellence. As the final notes faded, UMSB looked forward to its future journey.           澳大管樂團《歸途有風》音樂會圓滿落幕 慶賀建校45周年

澳門大學管樂團（UMSB）學期音樂會《歸途有風》已於 E31 學生活動中心劇院圓滿落幕。適逢澳門大學建校 45 周年，這場演出不僅展示了樂團精湛的藝術水準，更以音樂為紐帶，為母校近半個世紀的輝煌歷程獻上深情讚歌。

音樂會當晚，劇場內座無虛席。由隊員、導師及指揮組成的管樂陣容，傾力演繹了橫跨經典與現代的管樂作品。從氣勢磅礡的交響樂章到細膩動人的旋律，樂手們用氣息化作「風」，帶領觀眾穿梭於音樂的時空長河，象徵著藝術生命力的回歸與傳承。現場觀眾的熱烈掌聲與笑容，讓整個劇場煥發出蓬勃的生命力。
