Dear students,

Greetings! If you have been following the news recently, you would know that there have been ongoing telephone scams in Macau, and almost half of the victims are students!

Obviously, scammers have targeted students as their main victims, and they have been using highly convincing and tailored tactics to deceive and intimidate you into giving away your money. If you want to protect yourselves, your classmates, and your friends from falling prey to these scams, you must pay attention to the anti-scam information provided by the police and be vigilant. Our campus anti-scam awareness campaigns have never stopped, and we have been working closely with schools to establish a strong network to prevent everyone from falling into these traps.

Recently, we have received reports from some clever and vigilant students who recognized the scam and immediately hung up the phone, setting a great example of cooperation to prevent and combat scam.

Therefore, we urge you not only to be aware of these scams but also to promote the spirit of mutual assistance and help others stay informed about the latest scam alerts and prevention measures. Together we can raise our awareness and ability to prevent scam.

If you come across or suspect any such scams, please contact our anti-scam hotline at 8800 7777 or the emergency hotline at 993 as soon as possible.

We wish you all the best in your studies!
