【Sports Teams】: UM Korfball Team won the 2nd Runner-up at “66th Festival of Sport – President Cup Korfball Sports Trial and Demonstration Invitation Competition 2023”

The “66th Festival of Sport – President Cup Korfball Sports Trial and Demonstration Invitation Competition 2023” (organized by Hong Kong China Korfball Association Limited) was successfully held at Kowloon Park Sports Centre in Hong Kong from 27-28 May 2023. The competition attracted a total of 15 teams which came from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and competed with 4 category. 

UM sent a total of 12 students from Korfball Team to participate in the competition, all team members demonstrated outstanding performance and sportsmanship during the competition. After the exciting competition, UM Korfball Team won the 2nd runner-up in the Youth Category with a score of 9-4 against the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (香港科技大學). The Hong Kong U21 Korfball Team (香港U21合球代表隊) took 1st runner-up in the same category, while the WFSH Korfball Team (萬芳高中) from Taiwan won the championship at last.
