Activity Highlights
In order to promote archery, UMSU Archery Association has organized three classes of “Archery (Recurve Bow) Basic Course” during Apr to Jun 2023. There was a total of 33 UM members (31 students and 2 staff) participating in three classes (four lessons each class).
Throughout four lessons, participants have experienced how to build and shoot with a recurve bow, how to shoot safely and effectively, which has enhanced their knowledge of archery. In addition, in order to enhance the learning atmosphere and let them have competition experience, a novice match was held and finally 11 students were attended the competitions on 25 Jun. Results are as follows:
The activity was held successfully with positive feedback. The participants appreciated the guidance and encouragement from our professional student coaches. In addition, they hope that UMSUAA (UMSU Archery Association) will organize more related activities in the near future.
