Dear Colleagues,

The Exit Entry Administration of the China issued several measures for providing convenient customs clearance between Macao and Hengqin on 18 July 2023. Under these measures, a “Frequent Travelers Lane” has been newly set in the halls of Hengqin Port and Macao Port, which will expedite the customs clearance for eligible entry-exit personnel, including business travelers, official trip travelers, and staff of higher education institutions in Macao who need to travel between Macao and Hengqin frequently (generally 3 times entry and exit within a week). 

UM staff would be eligible to use the “Frequent Travelers Lane” by presenting their staff card to the duty officer at the entrance of the lane.
