Traffic Notice: Special Arrangement for Student Move-Out Period from 10 May to 1 Jun 2025

Dear Students and Colleagues,

As Academic Year 2024/2025 is coming to an end, we are implementing special traffic arrangement to facilitate students move-out with their luggage  during the following period:

Move-Out period: May 10 to Jun 1, 2025

Time: 08:00 – 18:00

The road gates on Residence Avenue (near Staff Quarters) and Alumni Avenue (near E11) will be opened to vehicles of student residents or their parents. These vehicles may use the designated unloading points along the inner roads to unload luggage.  (Please refer to Loading Points 2025)

For safety’s sake, as well as protecting the rights of other road users, all vehicles on Alumni Avenue and Residence Avenue are not allowed to park or wait. It’s suggested to park your vehicles in the Visitor Car Parks P1, P3, P5 or P6 if parking is needed.

For vehicles without holding a specific entry permit, the driver is required to register his/her contact number with the on-site security guard or the entry request will be denied.

Please deliver the above message to related contractors and outlets. If there is any need for goods loading/unloading at the affected areas, please send email to <sfs.security@um.edu.mo> one day in advance. Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe and efficient move-out process. Please follow the instructions of the on-site security guards at all times.

隨着2024/2025學年快將結束，我們將實施特別交通安排以方便學生順利遷出校園，具體措施如下：

實施日期：2025年5月10日至6月1日

時間：每天上午8時至下午6時

位於居易大道（近教職員宿舍）及校友大道（近科技學院）的兩個路閘將於上述期間開放予住宿學生及其家長之車輛，以進入大學內聯路的指定地點停車落客及搬運行李。可供接載及上落行李的地點：上落行李參考圖2025

為保障大家安全及不阻礙其他道路使用者使用道路的權利，進入校友大道及居易大道的車輛不得停車等人或停泊車輛。如需停留較長時間，可使用訪客停車場P1、P3、P5或P6。

請注意：如進入路閘的車輛未持有由澳門大學發出的特定許可證，駕駛人士均需向保安員登記其聯絡電話，否則其座駕將不得進入校園範圍。

所有外判公司及其送貨車輛亦須遵守以上規定，請各負責同事將上述安排告知相關外判公司。此外，如外判公司之車輛需停泊於上述路段上落貨，敬請提早1天發送電郵到sfs.security@um.edu.mo以作安排。

為確保搬離過程安全有序，敬請遵從現場保安人員的指示。

Special traffic arrangement for Triathlon Race on 20 April 2025 (Sunday)

親愛的同學及同事們：

為配合體育局於2025年4月20日(星期日) 上午6時至中午12時於校內舉辦的鐵人三項賽，大學將實施以下特別交通安排：

1. 校友大道北面路閘（靠近N8）將於上述期間暫時封閉 。如需進出校園，請使用位於居易大道或至善大馬路的路閘；

2. 訪客停車場P5位於E3之出入口 (P5B) 將於上述期間實施暫時封閉，而士林街的出入口 (P5A) 則有可能間歇性封閉；

3. 盛蓮大道及其周邊步行徑、圖書館北街、中央大道、強身大馬路、大學大馬路及士林街的部份路段將被劃作比賽用途，於上述時段進行臨時交通管制措施，詳見交通事務局告示如下:

Dear Students and Colleagues,

In order to cope with the Triathlon Race held by the Sports Bureau on 20 April 2025 (Sunday) on campus,  the following special traffic arrangement will be implemented between 06:00 and 12:00 on the said date.

1. Road Gate at the Alumni Avenue  (near N8) will be closed during the aforesaid period, vehicles may drive in/out of the campus through the gates at Residence Avenue or Perfect Goodness Avenue;

2. Visitor Car Park P5 – During the aforesaid period, vehicle entrance/exit at E3 (P5B) will be closed and vehicle entrance/exit (P5A) at Rua dos Saberes may be intermittently closed;

3. Part of the Lotus Avenue and nearby walking trail, Library North, Central Avenue, Avenida da Saude, Avenida da Universidade and Rua dos Saberes will be blocked for race purpose and special traffic measures will be applied. Please refer to the notice of DSAT for the detailed arrangement:

Dear Students, Residents and Colleagues,

According to announcement from the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG), Tropical Cyclone Signal no. 3 will be hoisted at 19:00 on 13 November.  For latest update, please refer to SMG website <https://www.smg.gov.mo/en>.

Before leaving your offices or hostels, please:

  • secure any outdoor flowerpot and furniture or move such objects to a safe place;
  • lock the doors and windows properly;
  • ensure that there is no blockage in rainwater channels and manholes;
  • do not open or get close to the glass doors that are exposed to the wind or with potential danger.

To minimize the impact of adverse weather, it will be highly appreciated if the general office of various faculties can help checking the offices of your faculty staff to ensure all windows and doors are closed before leaving today.

Besides, residents on campus are highly recommended to stay indoors when the signal is in force.

Control and handling of stray animals on Campus

To ensure campus safety and public health, we do keep a close eye on the situation of stray animals on campus. In order to reduce the safety and health risks that stray animals may bring, we would like to share with you the following information on animal epidemic prevention and control, which is provided by the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM). Let’s work together to build a healthy campus, your participation counts!
