澳大極創客開幕 北京多所高校首次參展

“澳大極創客2023—第二屆澳門大學創新創業展”今(27)日開幕,首次與北京及澳門十多所高等院校聯合參展。展覽旨在助力參展科創項目及初創公司對接投資融資商機,歡迎社會各界人士到場參觀。

在中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室關於澳門高校與內地高校深化科研交流合作、協同發展的倡儀和支持下,極創客2023以“生命科技”為主題,首次聯合澳門科技大學和澳門理工大學,與北京高校技術轉移聯盟、北京大學、清華大學、北京理工大學、北京航空航天大學、北京交通大學、北京工業大學、中國醫學科學院北京協和醫學院、北京大學醫學部、北京中醫藥大學、首都醫科大學、北京大學第一醫院、北京大學第三醫院等北京十多所高等院校及醫院共同展出超過70項科技創新項目及初創公司。

澳大校長宋永華致辭時表示,“極創客”這個主題是以“創客、極客”創新鑽研精神為起點,旨在向創業者、企業界、投資者及公共機構各界展示澳門大學的產學研成果,為澳門產業升級、多元化發展、跨產業合作等搭建溝通的橋樑,尋找高新科技的合作伙伴,提升自身的競爭能力。他亦期望通過“極創客”平台,讓澳門和北京高等院校有機會在各個專題領範上互相交流經驗,為大健康及中醫藥等產業凝聚澳門各界的創新創業力量,在充分利用“一國兩制”的優勢及在國家強大的支持背景下,繼續為澳門經濟適度多元發展化注入新的動力,優化澳門科技産業的發展。

為助力參展公司及科研項目開拓商機,爭取對接投資融資,極創客2023特別邀請了澳門、香港、珠海、橫琴、廣州及深圳的投資者和投融資機構到現場互動交流,並安排多個路演項目。路演現場氣氛熱烈,創業團隊積極為項目爭取投資機會,並獲一眾投資者點評和建議。

極創客2023亦邀請了華潤正大生命科學基金董事總經理柳達、華大生命科學研究院副院長方曉東、澳大健康科學學院院長鄧初夏、澳大中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室代主任陳新、艾社康(上海)健康諮詢有限公司業務拓展負責人孫玉冰、北京同仁堂參茸(保健品)有限公司業務總經理王磊等特邀嘉賓就生命科技和大健康產業的發展和投資趨勢、醫藥研發、大學技術轉移、創業等主題發表演講,讓參與者掌握大健康產業的發展動向,拓寬視野,把握粵港澳大灣區龐大的發展機遇。

此外,為加深澳門中學生對生命科技的認識,為特區政府的“1+4”適度多元發展策略培育更多創新人才,營造良好的創新創業氛圍,澳大創新創業中心與澳門培正中學、聖羅撒女子中學等中學合作,為超過40位中學生提供展出項目的導賞服務。

極創客2023由澳大創新創業中心主辦,澳大研究服務及知識轉移辦公室、珠海澳大科技研究院協辦,並由臨床腫瘤學會、博科科學儀器有限公司、廣告九州製藥有限公司及澳大創科有限公司贊助。

UM Ultimater 2023 opens, with new participants from Beijing universities

The Ultimater 2023—The 2nd UM Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition, organised by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Macau (UM), opened today (27 October). More than ten higher education institutions in Beijing and Macao, including UM, the Macau University of Science and Technology, Peking University, and Tsinghua University, participate in the exhibition to showcase over 70 technology innovation projects and startup companies. The exhibition aims to support the participating projects and startup companies in forging partnerships and seizing investment and financing opportunities. All are welcome to visit the exhibition.

In his speech, UM Rector Yonghua Song said that the event aims to showcase UM’s achievements in industry-academia collaboration to entrepreneurs, the business sector, investors, and public institutions. It serves to facilitate Macao’s industrial upgrading, diversification, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He also expressed hope that the Ultimater 2023 platform will enable higher education institutions in Macao and Beijing to exchange experiences in various fields and allow Macao practitioners to contribute to innovation and entrepreneurship in the healthcare and Chinese medicine industries.

Themed ‘life sciences’, the exhibition has invited several guest speakers to deliver talks on topics such as the development and investment trends in life sciences and the health industry, research and development of medicine, university technology transfer, and entrepreneurship, to provide participants with insights into the development trends of the health industry. In addition, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship organised guided tours of the exhibition for more than 40 local secondary school students to help them gain a deeper understanding of life sciences.

國家自然科學基金委訪澳大 探討青年人才培養

國家自然科學基金委員會代表團今(27)日參訪澳門大學,並組織召開“國家自然科學基金委員會支持澳門青年科技人才培養情況”座談會,來自澳門高校的70多名代表參與座談,共同探討青年科技人才培養與發展。

代表團獲澳大校長宋永華和副校長葛偉的熱情接待。訪問期間,代表團參觀了澳大大學展館,澳大研究服務及知識轉移辦公室主任王春明介紹了澳大的歷史沿革、科研佈局、校園建設、發展方向等總體情況。隨後,代表團參觀了澳大伍宜孫圖書館和智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室。

座談會上,代表團與澳門大學、澳門科技大學和澳門城市大學的代表就“優秀青年科學基金項目(港澳)”及“青年科學基金項目”的實施情況、資助成效、進一步優化措施等議題展開深入交流。國家自然科學基金委員會副主任高瑞平對澳門青年學者近年取得的科研成果表示高度肯定,並鼓勵澳門青年人才積極參與中央財政科技計劃,為國家和澳門的科技事業作出更多貢獻。

代表團成員還包括國家自然科學基金委員會計劃與政策局局長王岩、計劃與政策局綜合處處長張麗萍、辦公室秘書處副研究員于璇及港澳台事務辦公室副主任張琳。澳大健康科學學院教授兼珠海澳大科技研究院代院長陳國凱、智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室副教授楊丁奇等亦參與接待。

Delegation from NSFC visits UM to discuss cultivation of young talent

A delegation from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) visited the University of Macau today (27 October) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Ge Wei. They visited the University Gallery and learned about UM’s history, developments, research layout, campus facilities, and development direction. They also visited the UM Wu Yee Sun Library and the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City.

In addition, the delegation held a seminar on NSFC’s support for the cultivation of young talent in science and technology in Macao. More than 70 representatives from local higher education institutions, including UM, the Macau University of Science and Technology, and the City University of Macau, attended the seminar. The attendees had in-depth discussions on the implementation and effectiveness of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Hong Kong and Macao) and the Young Scientists Fund, as well as relevant improvement measures. Gao Ruiping, vice president of NSFC, highly praised Macao young scholars for their research achievements in recent years.

澳大首屆“漢語和葡語國際論壇”推動交流合作

由澳門大學人文學院葡文系和孔子學院聯合主辦、澳大圖書館協辦的第一屆“漢語和葡語國際論壇”圓滿閉幕,來自不同院校的40多位專家學者就中葡雙語文學、語言學、文化、翻譯、教學等領域開展充分的學術交流。與會者充分肯定是次論壇,期望論壇能夠爲中葡多個領域交流創造更廣闊的平台。

該論壇旨在發揮澳門作爲中國與葡語國家交流合作服務平台的獨特優勢,推動國際院校學術研究的交流與合作,發揮澳大在葡語研究、漢語研究、葡萄牙與東方文化交流等相關研究的獨特作用。論壇開幕儀式上,還首次頒授2021/2022及2022/2023學年“飛歷奇最佳葡語學術論文獎”,澳大葡文系三篇最佳博士論文、法學院一篇最佳葡語碩士論文獲獎。該獎項由澳門大學發展基金會資助,並在傑出的土生葡人作家和律師飛歷奇博士誕辰100周年之際頒授。另外,開幕儀式上還向曾於里斯本大學和澳門大學執教的教授Maria José Grosso贈送由同事致意的書籍,以感謝她對葡萄牙、澳門、內地和其他地方的葡語教學工作的奉獻。

論壇閉幕時還舉行了新書發佈。米尼奧大學教授Anabela Leal de Barros介紹了她的著作《Os ovos de ouros》,該書以農業爲例生動真實地展現了東帝汶的咖啡種植業、漁業、畜牧業等行業的發展及現狀,為中國與葡語系國家和地區的文化交流提供了豐富生動的材料。

另外,同期舉辦的澳門特別行政區與內地學術圖書館葡語資源聯盟理事會年度會議及圖書館管理策略與服務創新研討會也取得豐碩成果。與會的高校圖書館館長和專家肯定了聯盟的實質性基礎工作,各圖書館將進一步加強合作,從資源、數據、技術、人員培訓與交流等各方面支持聯盟發展,期望聯盟在葡語教學、研究及中國與葡語國家文化交流方面發揮更重要的作用。

UM holds First International Forum on Chinese and Portuguese Languages to promote exchange and cooperation

The First International Forum on Chinese and Portuguese Languages concluded successfully. The forum was jointly organised by the Department of Portuguese of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Confucius Institute of the University of Macau (UM) with assistance from the UM library. More than 40 experts and scholars from different universities engaged in academic exchanges on Chinese and Portuguese literature, linguistics, culture, translation, teaching, and other related fields. Participants highly praised the forum and hoped that it can create a broader platform for exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries in various fields.

The forum aimed to leverage Macao’s unique advantages as a service platform for exchanges and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, promote academic research and collaboration among international institutions, and leverage UM’s distinct role in Portuguese studies, Chinese studies, research on the exchange between Portuguese and Eastern cultures, and other related research areas. The opening ceremony of the forum also included the presentation of the Henrique de Senna Fernandes Academic Prize for the Best Portuguese Thesis for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic years. Prizes were awarded to three best doctoral theses from UM’s Department of Portuguese and one best master’s thesis in Portuguese from UM’s Faculty of Law. The prizes were funded by the University of Macau Development Foundation and were launched on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the outstanding Macanese writer and lawyer Henrique de Senna Fernandes. Moreover, Maria José Grosso, a professor who has taught at the University of Lisbon and UM, was presented with a book by her colleagues at the opening ceremony as a token of appreciation for her dedication to the teaching of the Portuguese language in Lisbon, Macao, mainland, and other places.

A book launch was also held during the closing ceremony of the forum. Prof Anabela Leal de Barros from the University of Minho introduced her book Os ovos de ouros. Focusing on agriculture, the book vividly portrays the development and current situation of industries such as coffee cultivation, fishery, and animal husbandry in East Timor. It provides a wealth of materials for cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries and regions.

In addition, the annual council meeting of the Academic Library Alliance for Portuguese Language Resources between Macao Special Administrative Region and Mainland China (ABAMACHINA), as well as the seminar on library management strategies and service innovation, which were held concurrently, achieved fruitful results. University librarians and experts who attended the council meeting acknowledged the substantial efforts of the alliance. The libraries of ABAMACHINA members will strengthen cooperation to support the development of the alliance in terms of resources, data, technology, and personnel training and exchanges. It is expected that ABAMACHINA will have greater influence on Portuguese language teaching, research, and cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.

A UM organizou o primeiro “Fórum Internacional das Língua Chinesa e Portuguesa” para promover o intercâmbio e a cooperação

O “1º Fórum Internacional das Línguas Chinesa e Portuguesa,” realizado em conjunto pelo Departamento de Português e pelo Instituto Confúcio da Universidade de Macau, com a colaboração da Biblioteca da mesma instituição, encerrou com sucesso. Mais de 40 estudiosos e académicos oriundos de diversas universidades participaram em intercâmbios académicos que englobaram áreas como literatura, linguística, cultura, tradução, ensino e outras relacionadas com as línguas chinesa e portuguesa. Os participantes mostraram pleno apreço pelo Fórum e manifestaram o desejo de que este venha a estabelecer uma plataforma mais ampla para o fomento de intercâmbios em várias áreas entre a China e os Países de Língua Portuguesa.

O Fórum tem como principal objetivo aproveitar a vantagem única de Macau como plataforma de serviços para promover o intercâmbio e a cooperação entre a China e os países de língua portuguesa. Além disso, visa estimular a colaboração na investigação académica entre instituições internacionais e fazer uso do papel distintivo da Universidade no estudo da língua portuguesa, da língua chinesa e do intercâmbio cultural entre Portugal e o Oriente, bem como em outras investigações correlacionadas. Durante a cerimónia de abertura, também foi atribuído, pela primeira vez, o “Prémio Académico Henrique de Senna Fernandes para as Melhores Teses” referentes aos anos letivos de 2021/2022 e 2022/2023, premiando as três melhores teses de doutoramento do Departamento Português da UM e a melhor tese de mestrado em língua portuguesa da Faculdade de Direito. O prémio foi financiado pela Fundação para o Desenvolvimento da Universidade de Macau e a atribuição ocorreu em comemoração ao 100º aniversário do nascimento do notável escritor e advogado macaense Henrique de Senna Fernandes. A cerimónia ainda incluiu uma homenagem à Profa. Maria José Grosso, antiga professora das Universidades de Lisboa e Macau, através da oferta dum livro com mensagens de vários colegas para agradecer por todo o seu contributo para o Ensino do Português, em Portugal, Macau, Interior da China e no resto do mundo.

O fórum foi encerrado com o lançamento do livro “Os Ovos de Ouro”, da autoria de Anabela Leal de Barros, professora na Universidade do Minho. Este livro utiliza a agricultura como exemplo para oferecer uma representação vívida e realista do desenvolvimento e da situação atual da plantação de café, das pescas, da criação de animais e de outras indústrias em Timor-Leste. Isso proporcionar uma base rica e autêntica para o intercâmbio cultural entre a China e os países e regiões de língua portuguesa.

Além disso, a reunião anual do conselho da “Aliança de Bibliotecas Académicas para Recursos de Língua Portuguesa entre a RAEM e o Interior da China” e o “Fórum sobre Estratégias de Gestão de Bibliotecas e Inovações de Serviços” foram também realizados ao mesmo tempo, com resultados frutíferos. Os bibliotecários e peritos universitários participantes reconheceram o importante trabalho de base da Aliança, afirmando que as bibliotecas irão reforçar ainda mais a sua cooperação e apoiar o desenvolvimento da Aliança em termos de recursos, dados, tecnologia, formação e intercâmbio de pessoal, etc. Esperam que a Aliança desempenhe um papel mais importante no ensino da língua portuguesa, na investigação e no intercâmbio cultural entre a China e os países de língua portuguesa.

澳大代表赴泰拓展國際生源

為吸引更多國際學生到澳門大學就讀,推動校園國際化和多元化,澳大副校長許敬文隨澳門特區政府教育及青年發展局代表團到泰國開展招生宣傳活動及參加國際教育博覽會。代表團亦訪問了當地高等院校及教育機構,促進澳大與泰國高校的國際合作。

代表團首先到訪泰國排名最高、歷史最悠久的朱拉隆功大學,獲校長 Prof. Bundhit Eua-arporn熱情接待,並與該校副校長、工程學院院長、科學學院院長、國際事務與全球網絡辦公室全球事務長等進行座談交流。許敬文表示,目前澳大與朱拉隆功大學已經簽署合作備忘錄和學生交換計劃,以推動學術交流,未來也將在不同領域加強合作,促進雙方科研合作和人才培養,實現優勢互補。代表團還參觀了校園、朱拉隆功大學博物館等。

代表團其後拜訪泰國華文教師公會和泰國留學中國大學校友總會並進行座談。泰國華文教師公會與澳大在內的七所澳門高校簽署合作備忘錄,藉此加強面向泰國學生的宣傳,推動更多泰國學生到澳門升學。

代表團到訪亞洲理工大學期間,該校校長Prof. Yamamoto向代表團介紹了亞洲理工大學的發展概況及教學科研成果。其後,代表團與多位院校代表進行交流,探討多領域的合作。

代表團此行還參加了泰國OCSC國際教育博覽會。該博覽會為一年一度、當地最大型的國際教育展,吸引來自24個國家和地區共350多所高校和教育機構參與。澳大於展覽會設置展位,介紹澳大現況、課程資訊等,並與學生和家長面對面交流,提供諮詢服務,讓海外學生和家長了解澳大,提升澳大在海外的知名度。此外,代表團亦前往曼谷英漢國際學校開展升學推廣活動。

UM representative visits Thailand to attract more international students

To attract more international students to the University of Macau (UM) and promote campus internationalisation and diversity, UM Vice Rector Michael Hui joined a delegation led by the Education and Youth Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government on a trip to Thailand to conduct student recruitment campaigns and participate in an international education expo. The delegation also visited local higher education institutions and educational organisations to enhance international cooperation between UM and Thai universities.

The Macao delegation visited Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s highest-ranked and oldest university, where they were received by its president, Bundhit Eua-arporn, and had discussions with representatives of the university. Hui said that UM and Chulalongkorn University have signed a memorandum of understanding and student exchange agreements to enhance academic exchanges. The two universities will strengthen cooperation in various fields to promote research collaboration and talent cultivation. The delegation also paid visits to the Chinese Teachers (Thailand) Association and the Thai Alumni Association of China’s Universities. The Chinese Teachers (Thailand) Association signed a memorandum of understanding with seven Macao higher education institutions including UM to attract more Thai students to pursue higher education in Macao. During the visit to the Asian Institute of Technology, the delegation was received by its president, Yamamoto.

As part of their trip, the Macao delegation also participated in the OCSC International Education Expo, the largest annual international education exhibition in Thailand. UM set up a booth at the expo to showcase the university’s current developments and programme information, as well as to provide face-to-face consultation services to students and parents. In addition, the delegation visited Concordian International School in Bangkok to conduct promotional activities.

澳大卓越教學獎得主將談教學理念演變

澳門大學將於11月1日(星期三)舉行“澳門大學卓越教學獎”講座,2022/2023學年得獎者、工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系助理教授楊曦將以“從產品管理到體驗管理:教學理念演變之旅”為題發表演講,分享在教育環境轉變和數碼化時代影響下其教學理念的演變歷程,以及其個人教學經驗。歡迎有興趣人士參加。

澳大一向重視優質教學及學生的學習經驗,因此特設年度性的“澳門大學卓越教學獎”,以鼓勵及表彰教學表現傑出的教學人員一名。每年的得獎者均由各學院中最優秀的教師經遴選委員會嚴格選出,委員會包括校董會成員、教師與學生代表,以及社會人士。

楊曦分別在北京大學及香港科技大學獲得學士及博士學位,於2019年加入澳大,在工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系擔任助理教授。其研究領域涵蓋旅遊及款客服務業的多個重要主題,包括從業人員心理、體驗管理、目的地品牌等。楊曦在研究方面也表現出色,發表逾30篇學術論文,連續兩年(2020/2021及2021/2022學年)獲得工商管理學院卓越研究獎,以及在該學院2022/2023學年的教學人員年度獎勵計劃中獲獎。她目前擔任著名學術期刊Journal of Travel Research及Tourism Analysis的編委。

楊曦的教學方法歸納為“體驗管理”,是從服務業借鑒的一個關鍵概念,旨在通過感官、情感、象徵、身體、關係及感知體驗等多個維度營造充滿活力和吸引力的學習環境,使學生即使畢業後仍持續受益,不斷自我提升。

UM Teaching Excellence Award recipient to give talk on evolution of teaching philosophy

The University of Macau (UM) will hold the UM Teaching Excellence Award Seminar on 1 November (Wednesday). Fiona Yang Xi, assistant professor in the Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management of the Faculty of Business Administration, is the recipient of the UM Teaching Excellence Award for the 2022/2023 academic year. She will give a talk titled ‘From Product Management to Experience Management: The Evolution of My Teaching Philosophy’. All are welcome to join.

The talk will feature Prof Yang’s unique insights into the evolution of her teaching philosophy, which is shaped by the dynamic shifts in the educational landscape and the influence of the current digital era. Prof Yang summarises her teaching philosophy as ‘experience management’, a key concept originating from the service industry. It is about using sensorial, affective, symbolic, physical, relational, and cognitive dimensions to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment that will continue to benefit students even after they graduate.

澳大校長出席中俄大學校長論壇 並訪問哈爾濱高校

澳門大學校長宋永華受邀出席“2023中俄大學校長論壇”,與來自中俄兩國精英高校的校長、專家、學者在中俄工科大學聯盟的框架下,開展在人才培養、科技合作、文化等方面的交流。另外,宋永華亦率代表團訪問了哈爾濱工業大學和哈爾濱工程大學,就深化校際合作進行深入的座談交流。

在論壇開幕式上,國家教育部副部長孫堯致辭時表示,期望兩國精英高校在人才聯合培養方面提質增效,共同推動聯合科研和產學研用合作,助力新時代中俄全面戰略合作。澳大作為中俄工科大學聯盟成員單位代表,宋永華受邀出席論壇並發表題為“面向未來的理工人才培養體系”的主旨演講,分享了對面向未來的人才培養體系理念和在“新工科”背景下理工人才創新培養的見解,以及澳大的探索與實踐經驗。

中俄工科大學聯盟成立於2011年,是中俄兩國精英工科大學在自願基礎上結成的非營利性組織,開創了中俄同類高校聯盟的先河,為中俄兩國同類高校開展合作樹立了典範。目前,聯盟共吸引75所精英大學加盟,中方院校含C9聯盟院校四所,世界一流大學建設高校(A類)16所,澳門大學、香港科技大學、香港城市大學、香港理工大學也是成員之一。俄方院校則包括國家研究型大學16所、聯邦制大學五所、“優選2023計劃”特別資助高校15所。

澳大代表團訪問了哈爾濱工業大學,參觀其機器人技術與系統全國重點實驗室、電氣工程及自動化學院的實驗室等科研平台。在與該校校長韓杰才等代表會面交流時,宋永華表示兩校自2022年建立戰略合作夥伴關係,在基礎醫學、藥學、電腦科學、材料科學、土木工程、機械工程、人工智慧與機器人、數學等領域不斷深化合作,在學生交換、萬人計劃、暑期研習班等方面互動頻繁,合作成果豐碩。他期望未來兩校進一步深化交流合作,尤其是在智能製造、機器人、電氣工程等工科領域,攜手向建設中國特色世界一流大學的目標共同邁進。

澳大代表團還訪問了哈爾濱工程大學,參觀其水下機器人技術國家級重點實驗室、水聲技術全國重點實驗室等科研平台。在與該校校長姚郁等代表座談交流時,雙方就加強在機器人、智能製造、海洋研究等領域的學術交流與科研合作進行了深入的探討,並期望共同為國家科學技術發展以及理工科創新型人才培養作出貢獻。

澳大代表團成員還有研究服務及知識轉移辦公室主任王春明、全球事務總監王瑞兵、智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室副主任馬少丹、科技學院機器人與自主系統碩士課程主任徐青松、智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室教授周建濤等。

UM rector attends China-Russia University Presidents’ Forum and visits universities in Harbin

Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), attended the China-Russia University Presidents’ Forum 2023, which took place within the framework of the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities. Presidents, experts, and scholars from prestigious universities in China and Russia gathered at the forum to discuss and exchange views on talent cultivation, cooperation in science and technology, and cultural development. UM is a member of the association, and on behalf of the member universities, Song delivered a keynote speech on talent development system towards the future. In his speech, Song shared his insights into the concept of nurturing talent for the future and presented innovative approaches to developing STEM talent in the context of emerging engineering education. He also highlighted UM’s exploratory initiatives and practical experiences in the field.

In addition, Song led a delegation to visit Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin Engineering University, where in-depth discussions were held to enhance collaboration between universities. At Harbin Institute of Technology, the UM delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System, the laboratory of the School of Electrical Engineering & Automation, and other research platforms. During the meeting with Harbin Institute of Technology President Han Jiecai and other representatives, Song said that following the establishment of a strategic partnership in 2022, the collaboration between the two universities in multiple STEM fields and exchange programmes has been fruitful. He expressed hope that both universities will strengthen communication and collaboration, particularly in the fields of smart manufacturing, robotics, and electrical engineering. At Harbin Engineering University, the UM delegation visited the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Robot Technology, the National Key Laboratory of Underwater Acoustic Technology, and other research platforms. The delegation had a meeting with Yao Yu, president of Harbin Engineering University, and other representatives. Both parties had in-depth discussions on enhancing academic exchanges and research collaboration in the fields of robotics, smart manufacturing, and ocean research.

Members of the UM delegation included Wang Chunming, director of the Research Services and Knowledge Transfer Office; Wang Ruibing, director of the Global Affairs Office; Ma Shaodan, associate director of the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City; Xu Qingsong, programme coordinator of the Master of Science in Robotics and Autonomous Systems programme of the Faculty of Science and Technology; and Zhou Jiantao, professor in the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City.

澳大舉辦飛歷奇百年誕辰紀念活動

澳門大學人文學院葡文系中葡雙語教學暨培訓中心於10月16日至12月18日期間在澳大圖書館舉辦活動,紀念澳門著名土生葡人作家飛歷奇百年誕辰。活動將展出飛歷奇的文學作品和生活點滴,歡迎有興趣人士參觀。

飛歷奇(Henrique de Senna Fernandes)生於1923年10月15日,是一位澳門著名律師和作家。他創作了《大辮子的誘惑》、《愛情與小腳趾》、《南灣》、《朵斯姑娘》、《望廈》和《黑夜在十二月降臨》等長短篇小說,其中《大辮子的誘惑》和《愛情與小腳趾》均被拍成同名電影。他的作品多以20世紀的澳門為背景,生動地描繪了澳門的歷史、風土人情和景觀,具有獨特的意義。他對澳門文學與文化發展有卓越的貢獻,被眾多文學評論家視爲澳門記憶的守護者。2001年,飛歷奇獲授予澳門特別行政區文化功績勳章,並於2008年獲澳門大學頒發榮譽文學博士學位。飛歷奇於2010年10月4日逝世,結束了他豐富而富有影響力的文學生涯。

飛歷奇百年誕辰紀念活動將展出關於飛歷奇的個人生平、職業生涯、文學作品及主題介紹,穿插由作家姚風所拍攝的飛歷奇個人照片,透過照片的影像記錄,展示飛歷奇生前的點滴與片段,現場還設有答題贏好禮線上活動,參加者將有機會獲得禮券。中葡雙語教學暨培訓中心期望以紀念活動爲契機,讓更多人士接觸、深入了解飛歷奇及其文學作品,提升對作家乃至澳門文學的興趣。

澳大中葡雙語教學暨培訓中心自2017年成立起,致力與中國內地和葡語國家開展長期或短期合作,在教師培訓方面建立聯繫,重點培養中葡雙語人才,共同開展葡語教學和中葡文化領域的研究,並促進中國與葡語國家的跨文化交流。

UM holds exhibition to commemorate centenary of birth of Henrique de Senna Fernandes

The Chinese-Portuguese Bilingual Teaching and Training Centre of the Department of Portuguese, Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Macau (UM), is holding an exhibition to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Henrique de Senna Fernandes, a renowned Macanese writer. The exhibition, which started on 16 October and will continue until 18 December, showcases the writer’s literary works and mementos. Those who are interested are welcome to visit the exhibition.

Born on 15 October 1923, Henrique de Senna Fernandes was a renowned lawyer and writer in Macao. He created a number of novels and short stories, including A Trança Feiticeira (The Bewitching Braid) and Amor e Dedinhos de Pé (Love and Tiny Toes), both of which were adapted into films with the same titles. His works primarily depict Macao in the 20th century and vividly portray the city’s history, customs, and landscapes. He made outstanding contributions to the development of literature and culture in Macao, and is regarded by many literary critics as a guardian of Macao’s heritage. The writer was awarded the Medal of Merit – Culture by the Macao SAR in 2001 and received a Doctor of Letters honoris causa from UM in 2008. He passed away on 4 October 2010.

The exhibition showcases Henrique de Senna Fernandes’s life, including his professional career and literary works, as well as thematic introductions. It also features portraits of him taken by author Yao Feng. In addition, there is an online quiz contest for visitors to win vouchers. The Chinese-Portuguese Bilingual Teaching and Training Centre hopes that the exhibition will enable more people to know more about Henrique de Senna Fernandes and his literary works, which in turn can arouse their interest in Macao writers and Macao literature.

UM Assinala Centenário de Henrique de Senna Fernandes

Com objectivo de celebrar o centenário do nascimento do escritor macaense Henrique de Senna Fernandes, o Centro de Ensino e Formação Bilingue Chinês-Português (CPC) do Departamento de Português da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Macau (UM) organizou um evento comemorativo a realizar na Biblioteca da UM, do dia 16 de novembro ao dia 18 de dezembro. Serão exibidas as obras literárias e os excertos da vida de Henrique de Senna Fernandes. O evento está aberto a todos os interessados.

Henrique de Senna Fernandes nasceu a 15 de outubro de 1923. Foi um famoso advogado e escritor em Macau. Escreveu contos e romances como A Trança Feiticeira, Amor e Dedinhos de Pé, Nam Van: Contos de Macau, Os Dores, Mong-Ha e A Noite Desceu em Dezembro. Entre eles, A Trança Feiticeira e Amor e Dedinhos de Pé foram adaptados a filmes. A sua literatura retrata a Macau do século XX, tendo um significado único na apresentação da história, das pessoas e paisagens de Macau. O escritor também é considerado por muitos críticos o guardião das memórias de Macau por ter feito contributos notáveis para o desenvolvimento da literatura e da cultura de Macau. Em 2001, foi agraciado com a Medalha de Mérito Cultural da RAEM e, em 2008, recebeu o Doutoramento Honoris Causa em literatura da Universidade de Macau. O escritor faleceu a 4 de outubro de 2010, concluindo uma carreira literária rica e influente.

O evento da Comemoração do Centenário de Henrique de Senna Fernandes será apresentada a biografia, as obras literárias e o percurso profissional e social do escritor, bem como as fotografias de Henrique de Senna Fernandes tiradas por Yao Feng, as quais podem ajudar-nos a conhecer alguns momentos e episódios da vida do escritor. Durante este período, os visitantes terão a oportunidade de ganhar um voucher, caso participem de um simples teste online. O CPC espera que esta actividade possa fazer com que mais pessoas possam conhecer melhor a obra literária do escritor Henrique de Senna Fernandes e desenvolvam um interesse mais profundo pelo autor e pela literatura de Macau.

Desde a sua criação em 2017, o CPC tem trabalhado para desenvolver a cooperação a curto, médio e longo prazo com instituições da China Continental e dos países de língua portuguesa, estabelecendo ligações na formação de professores, com foco na formação de talentos bilingues, e desenvolvendo investigação nas áreas do ensino da língua e cultura portuguesas e chinesas.

澳大校長率團訪日夥伴高校 深化科教協同發展

澳門大學校長宋永華率團赴日本東京,拜訪中國駐日大使館及訪問多所知名大學,期間落實多項科教合作計劃,進一步深化澳大與亞太地區高校的科教合作和交流。

宋永華表示,是次訪日取得了重要成果,與多所知名院校就教學、研究、學生交流等方面深化合作並確立未來合作方向和計劃,這些合作項目將有效提升澳大學術水平和國際影響力,同時為亞太地區的高等教育協同發展發揮積極作用。

訪日期間,澳大代表團拜會了中國駐日大使吳江浩及公使銜參贊杜柯偉。雙方就加強澳門特區與日本之間的學術交流合作進行了討論。吳江浩對澳大國際化發展給予高度肯定,期望澳大繼續深化與日本和亞太地區院校的科教合作,為特區及國家發展貢獻力量。

此外,澳大代表團訪問了慶應義塾大學,與該校校長Kohei Itoh會面。宋永華在會上表示,兩校在學生交換交流上合作多年,成果豐碩,期望通過是次訪問加強兩校的合作,尤其在傳統藥物及工商管理學科領域。澳大中華醫藥研究院代表亦參觀了該校醫學部漢方醫學中心,與中心科研人員進行深入交流,探討加強在傳統醫藥領域的研究合作。

澳大代表團其後訪問東京大學,與該校副校長Yujin Yaguchi探討在夏日學院交流活動的合作基礎上建立更深入的師生交換機制,並一致同意在藥學等領域加強科研合作。澳大代表團還參觀了該校藥物科學研究生院的實驗室,與該院院長Masayuki Miura座談交流,了解免疫學、藥物動力學、藥物監管科學等領域的前沿科研動態,並就相關領域的科研合作達成共識。

其後,澳大代表團訪問了帝京大學,獲校長Yoshihito Okinaga接待。雙方回顧了近年兩校師生交流及學生交換協議的執行情況,並簽署了書院合作備忘錄,進一步推進師生交流,也在人文社科、醫藥等領域的學術合作達成共識。澳大代表團還訪問了上智大學,與校長Yoshiaki Terumichi等代表座談交流,雙方同意進一步加強學生交換協議的執行,並就人文社會科學領域的人才聯合培養合作進行了務實交流。

在早稻田大學,雙方在座談交流時表示,期望進一步加強兩校已合作多年的學生交換項目,進一步探索在人文社科和工商管理學科的合作,並探討建立綜合度假村及旅遊管理學等特色學科的聯合人才培養項目。此外,澳大代表團還訪問了東京醫科大學,就醫學及相關領域的合作交換意見及探討合作意向。

UM rector leads delegation to visit partner universities in Japan to enhance integrated development of research and teaching

Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), recently led a delegation to Tokyo, Japan, to visit the Chinese Embassy in Japan and several renowned universities . The trip has seen the implementation of multiple cooperation initiatives in research and teaching, further enhancing cooperation and exchanges between UM and other higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to Song, the trip to Japan has yielded significant results. It has deepened cooperation with the visited higher education institutions in the areas of teaching, research, and student exchange, in addition to setting directions and plans for future cooperation. The cooperation initiatives will effectively enhance the academic standing and international influence of UM, while contributing to the synergistic development of higher education in the Asia-Pacific region.

During their trip to Japan, the UM delegation met with Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador to Japan, and Du Kewei, minister counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Japan. During the meeting, the two parties had discussions on enhancing academic exchange and cooperation between the Macao SAR and Japan. Wu highly praised UM for its international development and expressed hope that the university will continue to deepen its cooperation with higher education institutions in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region in research and teaching, thereby contributing to the development of the Macao SAR and the country.

In addition, the UM delegation visited Keio University and had a meeting with its president, Kohei Itoh. During the meeting, Song said that the longstanding student exchange programme between the two universities has yielded fruitful results over the years. It is hoped that the two universities, through this visit, will strengthen their cooperation, especially in the fields of traditional medicine and business administration. Representatives of UM’s Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences also paid a visit to the Center for Kampo Medicine of Keio University School of Medicine, where they engaged in in-depth discussions with the research staff at the centre to explore opportunities for fostering collaborative research on traditional medicine.

The delegation then visited the University of Tokyo and met with its vice president Yujin Yaguchi to explore a more robust mechanism for student and faculty exchanges on the basis of their collaborative summer exchange activities. They also agreed to foster collaborative research, particularly in the field of pharmacy. Members of the delegation also paid a visit to the laboratories of the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Tokyo. They met with the dean, Masayuki Miura, who shared the latest research developments in immunology, pharmacokinetics, and drug regulatory science. The two parties reached a consensus on research collaboration in the relevant fields.

At Teikyo University, the UM delegation was received by its president Yoshihito Okinaga. The two parties reviewed the implementation of student and faculty exchanges and their student exchange agreements in recent years. They also signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between residential colleges to further promote student and faculty exchanges. They also reached a consensus on academic cooperation in humanities, social sciences, and medicine. In addition, the delegation visited Sophia University, where they discussed and exchanged views with its president Yoshiaki Terumichi and other representatives. Both parties agreed to enhance the implementation of student exchange agreements and had discussions on joint training of talents in the field of humanities and social sciences.

At Waseda University, both parties expressed their wish to strengthen the student exchange programme launched many years ago and to further explore cooperation in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and business administration. They also explored the establishment of joint training programmes in integrated resort and tourism management. Moreover, the UM delegation visited Tokyo Medical University, where both parties exchanged views on cooperation in medicine and related fields and discussed potential collaboration.

Members of the UM delegation included Chen Xin, director of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences; Wang Ruibing, director of the Global Affairs Office; Loi Chi Ho, associate dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; So Siu Ian, assistant dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Ung Oi Lam, programme director of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences.

澳門大學舉辦“2023年國際交流晚會”,吸引來自多個國家和地區200多名學生參加。晚會上,師生們一同分享留學資訊、赴外交流的經驗和建議。

澳大副校長馬許願在開幕致辭時表示,澳大一直致力提升校園的國際化水平,今年正式重啟國際交流計劃和線下交流活動,期望更多澳大學生通過交流計劃赴外學習交流,豐富大學生涯。他亦期望國際學生和交換生能善用在澳大學習的機會,充分體驗澳大的國際化氛圍和澳門的獨特文化,並向親友和同學分享在澳大的學習經歷。

澳大全球事務部致力提升澳大的國際化水平,積極與海外知名院校建立夥伴關係及擴大合作網絡。全球事務部提供多個交流項目,包括學期交換計劃、“萬人計劃”、“伊拉斯謨+”交流計劃等。目前,澳大與全球32個國家和地區的167所知名校院建立了學生交流合作夥伴關係,合作夥伴遍佈中國內地、日本、韓國、美國、葡萄牙、英國、法國、德國、荷蘭、瑞典、丹麥、加拿大、巴西等。

UM holds International Night 2023

The Global Affairs Office of the University of Macau (UM) held the International Night 2023, which was attended by more than 200 students from different countries and regions. During the event, students and faculty members exchanged information about studying abroad and shared their experiences and advice on overseas exchanges. In his welcome remarks, UM Vice Rector Rui Martins said that the university is committed to increasing its internationalisation. He expressed hope that with the resumption of the university’s international exchange programmes and offline exchange activities this year, more UM students will seize the opportunity to study abroad. He also expressed his expectation that both international and exchange students will make full use of their learning opportunities at UM to experience the university’s international atmosphere and Macao’s unique culture.

澳大校長率團與韓國多所一流大學簽署合作協議

為進一步擴展澳門大學國際合作網絡,加強與亞太地區院校的交流和合作,澳大校長宋永華率團訪問韓國多所一流大學,期間簽署多項合作協議,以及探討聯合培養具國際競爭力的創新人才。

澳大代表團一行首先訪問高麗大學,獲該校副校長Sang Kee Song等代表接待。雙方簽署了兩校學生交換協議以及學院合作備忘錄,並就促進師生交流、共同舉辦學術研討會、推進聯合科研項目等方面的進一步合作交換意見。其後,代表團訪問梨花女子大學,與該校校長Eun Mee Kim等代表進行座談會議,探討共同促進師生交流交換及聯合人才培養,並簽署兩校學生交換協議和合作備忘錄。澳大工商管理學院代表亦訪問了該校商學院,探討兩校在相關領域開展科教合作。

在成均館大學,宋永華與該校校長Jibeom Yoo共同簽署了兩校合作備忘錄並進行座談交流,雙方就進一步加強師生交流、推進聯合科研及交流項目等合作領域交換意見。訪問慶熙大學期間,代表團一行與該校常務副校長Ohbyung Kwon等代表會面及交流,並簽署了學生交換協議;澳大中華醫藥研究院代表還訪問了該校韓醫學院,探討於傳統醫藥領域的科研合作並舉辦學術會議。代表團還訪問了延世大學並與該校常務副校長Eunkyoung Kim座談交流,探討加強雙邊合作並簽署兩校合作備忘錄。此外,澳大工商管理學院代表也在漢陽大學與該校商學院代表探討商科領域合作。

宋永華一行在訪韓期間亦拜會了中國駐韓國大使邢海明及教育公使銜參贊艾宏歌。宋永華向他們介紹了澳大的發展概況、國際化戰略佈局、澳大與韓國院校的合作情況和展望。邢海明高度讚賞澳大近年的快速發展和國際化工作成果,並表示大使館將全力支持澳大與韓國院校拓展合作及交流,雙方亦就促進澳門特區和韓國之間的學術合作進行了深入的交流和討論。

是次澳大代表團成員還包括中華醫藥研究院院長陳新、全球事務總監王瑞兵、工商管理學院副院長雷智豪、工商管理學院助理院長蘇小恩和中華醫藥研究院課程主任吳靄琳。

UM rector leads delegation to visit top universities in South Korea and sign cooperation agreements

Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), recently led a delegation to visit several top universities in South Korea to expand the university’s international network and strengthen exchanges and cooperation with other higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. During the visits, a number of cooperation agreements were signed and discussions were held to explore joint training of innovative talent with international competitiveness.

The UM delegation first visited Korea University and was received by its vice president, Sang Kee Song. The two parties signed a student exchange agreement, as well as a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between faculties. They also exchanged views on further cooperation in student and faculty exchanges, organisation of academic seminars, and promotion of joint research projects. The delegation then visited Ewha Womans University and met with its president, Eun Mee Kim, and other representatives to discuss how to promote student and faculty exchanges and collaboration in talent cultivation. The two parties also signed a student exchange agreement and a memorandum of understanding. Representatives of UM’s Faculty of Business Administration also paid a visit to its counterpart at Ewha Womans University to explore research and education collaboration in the field of business.

At Sungkyunkwan University, Song signed a memorandum of understanding with its president Jibeom Yoo. They also held discussions and exchanged views on fostering student and faculty exchanges, facilitating joint research and exchange programmes, and other areas of cooperation. During their visit to Kyung Hee University, the UM delegation met with its provost, Ohbyung Kwon. The two parties exchanged views and signed a student exchange agreement. Representatives of UM’s Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences also paid a visit to the College of Korean Medicine of Kyung Hee University to discuss research collaboration and organising academic conferences in the field of traditional medicine. UM’s delegation also visited Yonsei University and met with its provost, Eunkyoung Kim, where they discussed how to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The two parties also signed a memorandum of understanding. In addition, at Hanyang University, representatives of UM’s Faculty of Business Administration explored cooperation opportunities with its counterpart there in the field of business.

During their trip to South Korea, Song and the UM delegation also met with Xing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, and Ai Hongge, education counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in South Korea. During the meeting, Song introduced to them UM’s development, as well as its international strategic layout, cooperation with higher education institutions in South Korea, and future prospects. Xing spoke highly of the university’s rapid development and achievements in internationalisation in recent years, and stated that the embassy will give full support for cooperation and exchanges between UM and higher education institutions in South Korea. The two sides also had in-depth discussions and exchanged ideas on fostering academic collaboration between the Macao SAR and South Korea.

Members of the UM delegation included Chen Xin, director of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences; Wang Ruibing, director of the Global Affairs Office; Loi Chi Ho, associate dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; So Siu Ian, assistant dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Ung Oi Lam, programme director of the Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences.
