Invitation: User Satisfaction Survey on ICTO Services 2024/2025

Dear students and colleagues,

To accurately assess user satisfaction with ICTO services, we will conduct an online questionnaire survey. Your valuable feedback and suggestions are crucial to us, as they help us continuously improve and deliver better services to meet your evolving IT needs.

We will send an invitation email to all students and colleagues, containing a unique link to the questionnaire.  The deadline for the survey is 30 April, 2025 (Wednesday). We strongly encourage you to complete the questionnaire before this date to allow us to collect and analyse your opinions in a timely manner.

We sincerely appreciate your participation and support, and look forward to receiving your feedback. Let us work together to continuously improve service quality and meet your expectations!

Beware of Ransomware Attacks

To: All colleagues

As informed by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP), recently some organizations in nearby regions have been attacked by ransomware, resulting in the leakage of personal information and other sensitive data. Ransomware and malicious programs are evolving rapidly in recent days, please be vigilant and take the following measures:

  1. If you receive a suspicious URL or file attachment via email or other channels, do not click to open it, and you should delete the content immediately and report it to ICTO;
  2. Avoid using unauthorized software;
  3. Do not stop or uninstall anti-virus software or anti-malware software in your office computer;
  4. Do not stop the auto-update computer program in your office computer;
  5. Avoid browsing any untrusted websites;
  6. Keep your identification and authorization tools for accessing IT network and computer systems properly, and avoid disclosing passwords to others.

資訊及通訊科技部接獲行政公職局的通知，鑑於近日鄰近地區相繼有機構受到勒索軟件攻擊，導致個人資料等敏感數據外洩。勒索軟件及惡意程式日新月異，請各位同事提高意識，並做好以下措施：

  1. 如收到經電郵或其他途徑附載的可疑網址或檔案，切勿點擊打開，並應馬上把內容刪除及通知資訊及通訊科技部；
  2. 避免使用未經授權的軟件；
  3. 不得停止或解除安裝辦公電腦設備內的防電腦病毒軟件或防惡意程式軟件；
  4. 不得停止辦公電腦設備內的電腦程式自動更新功能；
  5. 避免瀏覽任何不信任的網站；
  6. 妥善保管訪問資訊網絡和電腦系統的身份識別和權限工具，避免向他人透露密碼。
