Invitation (Next Wednesday): CTLE Professional Development Workshop: Applying the Science of Learning for Educators (Wed., Mar. 13, 12:00PM – 1:30PM, E3-1032)

2024-03-14T00:00:07+08:00

The Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement (CTLE) would like to cordially invite you to take part in the CTLE Professional Development Workshop, entitled Applying the Science of Learning for Educators with Prof. Robert K. Kamei from Duke-NUS Medical School and the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Our modern classrooms have implemented very few lessons gained from the considerable research done on how people best learn. One of the main reasons for this is that many of these findings are counterintuitive. Educators who understand the truth behind these myths can help their students learn better. Using the speaker’s unique perspective as an educator and physician, participants will be provided with insights on learning and examples of how you, as a teacher, can help your students use this knowledge for optimal learning.

Join us on this special day for professional development to help you get going, get inspired and get connected at UM.
