FED held a retreat for staff members
harveylo2024-12-13T00:00:11+08:00To review and reflect on the academic performance and achievement of FED in the past year, and to plan ahead for the new academic year and the next five years, the Faculty of Education (FED) at the University of Macau (UM) held a retreat for staff members on 5 December 2024 at Adelson Advanced Education Center of The Venetian Macao. This retreat gathered all FED teaching and administrative staff to foster the faculty’s growth and development through discussions and knowledge sharing.
The retreat began in the morning with opening remarks by Prof. King Man HUI, Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) of UM and Prof. Lianghuo FAN, Dean of FED. This was followed by in-depth discussions on the FED’s strategic plan, faculty development, and academic promotion criteria. Staff members actively participated in group discussions, exchanged ideas, and proposed constructive suggestions. During the Q&A session, they posed insightful questions and engaged in meaningful conversations with Dean Fan.
In the afternoon, Prof. Yonghua SONG, Rector of UM, attended the retreat and delivered a speech, providing valuable perspectives on the future direction of the Faculty of Education. The afternoon sessions also included topics on classroom observations, new guidelines, and high-profile international academic conferences. The retreat concluded with interactive games and a lucky draw, fostering a sense of relaxation and camaraderie among staff members.
The retreat provided a valuable platform for FED staff members to reflect, collaborate, and share ideas. It not only strengthened teamwork but also clarified future objectives, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of FED.

為總結和反思教育學院在過去一年的工作成果，並為新學年和未來五年做好準備，澳門大學教育學院於2024年12月5日在澳門威尼斯人艾德森高等教育中心舉辦了教職員集思會。此次會議聚集了教育學院全體教學及行政人員，旨在通過討論和分享促進學院的發展與提升。
會議上午由澳大副校長（學術）許敬文及教育學院院長范良火致開場辭，隨後圍繞學院的戰略規劃、教師發展、教職晉升標準等主題展開深入探討。教職員分組交流，分享意見並提出建設性建議。在問答環節，各教職員亦踴躍發問並與范院長進行了深入的交流。
下午，澳大校長宋永華參加了會議並致辭，為教育學院未來的發展方向提出了寶貴意見。下午的議程還包括課堂觀摩、學院新指引以及高規格國際學術會議等多項內容。會後設有輕鬆愉快的互動遊戲和抽獎環節，為整日的討論畫上了圓滿的句號。
此次會議為教育學院的全體教職員提供了交流、反思與協作的平台，不僅促進了教職員之間的合作，也為未來的工作目標指明了方向，為學院的持續發展奠定了堅實的基礎。
