時光靜默流淌，又至鳳凰花開，不變的是對母校的感恩，載滿的是在澳大的收穫。2023屆畢業生即將在濠江啟航，懷揣著青春之志，奔赴祖國各地開啟人生新篇章。2023年6月10日，2023屆畢業典禮升旗儀式於澳門大學蓮花廣場隆重舉行，各書院畢業學生代表及其親友共同參與本次儀式。升國旗儀式作為畢業典禮日首個活動，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊以升旗儀式的行為率先為全體畢業生獻上祝福。

本次升國旗儀式的嘉賓包括：澳門大學校長宋永華教授、澳門大學(學生事務)副校長兼霍英東珍禧書院代院長莫啓明教授、彭執中學生事務長、曹光彪書院院長劉潤東博士、鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發教授、張崑崙書院代院長黃民聰教授、呂志和書院院長藍志雄教授、馬萬祺羅柏心書院院長楊柳教授、滿珍紀念書院代院長張國祥教授、紹邦書院代院長譚錫忠教授、學生資源處處長周佩貞女士。

當天，天空灰濛濛地，陰雲密佈，接著便是綿綿細雨如絲線飄落。早上8時整，雨勢漸漸加大，但現場的畢業生和嘉賓們仍然站得筆直，嚴肅注視著升旗儀隊。來賓與旗隊眼中透著濃濃的感動和對國旗的敬意。升旗儀式正式開始。升旗隊列昂首闊步，神采飛揚，以鏗鏘有力的步伐，護衛國旗、區旗和校旗走向升旗臺。伴隨著雄壯激昂的《義勇軍進行曲》，三面旗幟在雨中依次冉冉升起。在場全體人員莊嚴行注目禮，共同見證三面旗幟升起的神聖時刻，內心激蕩著強烈的愛國之情和報國之志。

參與此次升旗儀式的隊員中包含三名畢業隊員，她們為旗隊做出了卓越的貢獻，這是她們最後一次在澳大校內以澳門大學國旗儀仗隊骨幹隊員的身份執行儀仗司禮任務。這些即將畢業的國旗儀仗隊隊員，用實際行動表達了對儀仗、對澳大、對國旗最質樸的情感。

澳門大學根植澳門本土，建校四十餘載，為社會輸送了一批又一批具有家國情懷和國際視野的綜合性優秀人才。澳大的快速發展離不開中央及特區政府的大力支持，澳大將繼續積極在教育、科研等領域發揮自身優勢，助力實施科教興國戰略，全力支持建設“一中心，一平臺，一基地”，配合中央政府為我國實現第二個百年奮鬥目標共同奮鬥。祝願各位畢業生能夠身體力行地踐行著「仁、義、禮、知、信」的校訓精神，成為推動社會建設和發展的中流砥柱。

Time silently flows, and the blooming of the phoenix flowers marks the unchanging gratitude for the alma mater and the harvests gained at the University of Macau. The 2023 graduates are about to set sail from the Pearl River Delta, with youthful aspirations and heading towards various parts of the country to begin a new chapter in their lives. On 10^th June 2023, the UM National Flag Team (NFT) successfully held the Flag Raising Ceremony for UM Congregation 2023 at the Lotus Square. Being the first event of the graduation ceremony, the Flag Raising Ceremony by NFT was the first act of blessing for all graduates.

The guests attended the Flag Raising Ceremony included Prof. Song Yonghua, Rector; Prof. Mok Kai Meng, Vice Rector (Student Affairs) and Interim Master of HFPJC; Mr. Paul Pang, Dean of Students; Dr. Lau Yun-Tung, Master of CKPC; Prof. Alfred Wong, Seng Fat, Interim Master of CYTC; Prof. Wong Man Chung, Interim Master of CKLC; Prof. Desmond Lam, Chee Shiong, Master of LCWC; Prof. Yang Liu, Master of MLC; Prof.  Cheung Kwok Cheung, Interim Master of MCMC; Prof. Tam Sik Chung, Interim Master of SPC; and Ms. Anita Chau, Head of Student Resources Section.

On that day, the sky was overcast with dark clouds, followed by a fine rain falling like silk threads. At 8:00 am, although the rain gradually intensified, the Flag Raising Ceremony officially began. Despite of the heavy rain, all the guests and RC students still stood upright, solemnly watching NFT members. All the guests, RC students and NFT team members showed deep emotions and respect for the National Flag. NFT members marched forward with their heads held high and with a powerful stride, escorting the National Flag, the Macao S.A.R. Flag, and the UM Flag towards the flagpole. Accompanied by the National Anthem, the three Flags were raised slowly under the rain. Everyone presented attention to witness the sacred moment when the three Flags were raised, their hearts filled with strong patriotism and the spirit of dedication to the country.

Among the NFT members who had participated in this ceremony, there were 3 graduating students who had made outstanding contribution to the team. This was their last time duty performing as a member of NFT. These soon-to-be-graduating NFT members expressed their purest emotions towards the 3 Flags, the University of Macau, and the Flag Raising Ceremony through their actions.

The University of Macau, rooted in the Macao S.A.R., has been in existence for over 40 years and has delivered a number of outstanding talents with a sense of homeland and international vision to society. The rapid development of the University of Macau is inseparable from the strong support from the Mainland China and the Macao S.A.R. government. The University of Macau will continue to act its own strengths in education and scientific research and actively support the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, and cooperate with the Central Government to achieve the second centennial goal of the country. We wish all graduates to embody the spirit of the school motto, “Humanity, Integrity, Propriety, Wisdom and Sincerity” and become the pillars of social construction and development.

為了進一步加深對國情的了解，加強澳門大學國旗儀仗隊與内地高校國旗儀仗隊的聯繫，2023年5月29日至6月2日，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊前往北京進行國情考察交流活動。此行由澳門大學學生資源處處長周佩貞擔任團長，以及學生事務部學生活動監督陳倩如和魏曉婷隨行帶隊。

此次行程，隊員們主要參觀了中國共產黨歷史展覽館與中國人民革命軍事博物館，學習瞭解了中國共產黨和近現代中國軍事的發展歷史。同時，隊員們與清華大學學生國旗儀仗隊和北京航空航天大學國旗護衛隊交流學習，分享經驗。旗隊亦觀摩了天安門廣場的升國旗儀式，隊員深受震撼，感觸良多。通過本次行程，隊員們深入瞭解了祖國過去百年的發展史、奮鬥史，更堅定了大家的民族自豪感和國家認同感，收穫頗豐。

在中國共產黨黨史展覽館中，一件件令人動容的物件將大家拉回那段崢嶸歲月，一個個共產人士為了舊中國的解放和新中國的建立前仆後繼，他們的愛國熱情引起了大家的強烈共鳴。在中國人民革命軍事博物館中，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊的隊員面向三軍儀仗隊隊員1：1蠟像敬禮致敬，表達著隊員們對高水平儀仗司禮及儀仗精神、國旗文化的崇高敬仰。

隊員們也同清華大學學生國旗儀仗隊和北京航空航天大學國旗護衛隊的隊員們開展隊列展示，互相學習；兩校領導及隊員們在座談會上進行了廣泛深入地交流。

澳門大學國旗儀仗隊的隊員們堅持“心懷家國、身行儀仗、思重學業、素能綜合”的隊員培養模式，刻苦訓練，不斷提升自身的儀仗水準；開展各類活動，傳遞愛國愛澳精神。作為新時代青年，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊的全體隊員們亦始終牢記習總書記的囑託，立志做一名有理想、敢擔當、能吃苦、肯奮鬥的青年；將所見所學內化於心，將所想付之於行，始終牢記自身的使命擔當，心懷壯志，為國家和民族的未來努力奮鬥！

In order to deepen the understanding of the country and strengthen the connection between the UM National Flag Team (NFT) and the university flag-raising teams in the Mainland China, the NFT went to Beijing for a national study and exchange activities from 29^th May to 2^nd June, 2023. The team was led by Ms. Anita Chau, Head of the Student Resources Section, and accompanied by Ms Jenny Chan and Ms Stella Ngai, student activity supervisors.

During this trip, NFT mainly visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China and the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution, learning about the development history of the Communist Party of China and modern Chinese military history. At the same time, the team exchanged experience with the National Flag Raising Teams from both Tsinghua University and Beihang University. NFT members also witnessed the Flag Raising Ceremony at Tiananmen Square and was deeply touched and amazed, gaining a lot of insights. Through this trip, NFT members gained deeper understanding of the development and struggles of the past century in China, and their sense of national pride and identity was strengthened, with fruitful results.

In the Museum of the Communist Party of China, the exhibits brought everyone back to that era of struggles, where the Communist revolutionaries worked tirelessly for the liberation of old China and the establishment of new China, of which their patriotism resonated strongly with the NFT members. In the Military Museum of the Chinese People’s Revolution, NFT members saluted to the 1:1 wax figures of the Beijing Garrison Honor Guard Battalion, as to express their admiration for the high-level ceremonial and the National Flag culture.

Nevertheless, NFT members also exchanged with both the student National Flag Raising Teams from both Tsinghua University and Beihang University, learning from each other. The leaders and team members of the two universities also held extensive and in-depth exchanges during the exchange seminars.

Constantly, NFT members adhere to the cultivation model of “carrying patriotism in their hearts, performing ceremonial duties with their bodies, emphasizing learning, and improving their abilities comprehensively.” Therefore, they train hard, continuously improve their ceremonial standards, and carry out various activities to promote the spirit of patriotism and love for Macao. As young people in the new era, all NFT members always keep in mind of aspiring to be a person of idealistic, daring, hardworking, and willing to take responsibilities. They internalize what they have learned, put their thoughts into action, and always remember their mission, strive for the future of the country and the nation!

2023年是五四運動104周年，隨著時代的發展，中國青年一代又一代接續奮鬥，凱歌前行。五四運動，孕育了以愛國、進步、民主、科學為主要內容的偉大五四精神。五四風雷，激蕩百年；五四精神，一脈相承。澳門大學國旗儀仗隊於2018年5月4日成立，旨在秉持愛國愛澳的信念，繼承先輩遺志，弘揚愛國主義精神。

5月4日上午8時，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊舉行2023年五四青年節升國旗儀式；三百餘名澳大青年學生齊聚蓮花廣場參與其中，重溫光榮歲月，紀念五四運動104周年。本次升國旗儀式到場嘉賓有：彭執中學生事務長、曹光彪書院院長劉潤東博士、鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發教授、呂志和書院院長藍志雄教授、紹邦書院代院長譚錫忠教授、校長辦公室汪淇主任及學生資源處處長周佩貞女士。儀式開始，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊隊員們邁著堅定的步伐入場，現場氣氛莊嚴肅穆。伴隨著激昂的《義勇軍進行曲》，國旗，區旗，校旗迎著朝陽徐徐升起；在104年後的今天，這三面旗幟承載著新的希望，激揚著青春新的鬥志，也見證著澳門大學國旗儀仗隊五年來新的成長與足跡。第五屆隊員在本次升旗儀式中圓滿完成首次升旗任務，他們將在新的一年中逐步成長為國旗儀仗隊的中堅力量。

青春正奔騰，不負新時代。第一個五年，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊始終銘記“雙手護國旗，鐵肩承兩制”的隊訓，積極響應國家的號召，傳遞愛國愛澳精神，不負時代所託，展現青年的責任與擔當。之後的五年，站在新的起點，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊將繼續奮力奔跑在弘揚愛國愛澳精神的賽道上，跑出當代青年的更好成績。

The year 2023 marks the 104^th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. With the development of the times, the Chinese youths have been striving for success by generations, and advancing with songs of triumph. The May Fourth Movement has given birth to the great May Fourth Spirit, which is mainly composed of patriotism, progress, democracy and science. The May Fourth thunderstorm has been stirring for a hundred years; the spirit of May 4^th has been passed on from generation to generation. The UM National Flag Team (NFT) was established on 4^th May 2018 to uphold the belief of patriotism and love for Macau, to inherit the legacy of our ancestors, and to promote the spirit of patriotism.

On 4^th May 2023, the UM NFT held the Flag Raising Ceremony for the May Fourth Youth Day.  More than 300 RC students (including RC masters) gathered at N6 the Lotus Square to commemorate the 104^th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement. Dean of Students, Mr. Paul Pang; CKPC Master, Dr. Lau Yun Tung; CYTC Interim Master, Prof. Alfred Wong; LCWC Master, Prof. Desmond Lam; SPC Interim Master, Prof. Tam Sik Chung; Director of Rector’s Office, Ms. Carol Wang, and Head of Student Resources Section, Ms. Anita Chau attended the ceremony. In the beginning of the ceremony, NFT members marched with a determined pace, with a solemn atmosphere. With the National Anthem, the National Flag, the Regional Flag and the UM Flag were raised accordingly. Today after 104 years, these three flags carry new hope, inspire the new spirit of the youth, and witness the new growth and footprints of the team throughout the past five years. The fifth team members successfully completed their first flag-raising task in this Flag Raising Ceremony. They will gradually grow up to be the backbone of the National Flag Team in the future.

“Youth is running, to live up to the new era”. In the first five years, NFT has been always remembering the motto of “Protecting the National Flag with both hands, bearing the two systems with iron shoulders”, as to actively respond to the call of the Country, for passing on the spirit of patriotism and love for Macau, living up to the mandate of the times and demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of youth. The next five years, while NFT is standing at a new starting point, they will keep on running hard to promote and spread the spirit of patriotism and love of Macau on the race track, achieving better results for contemporary youth.

澳門大學國旗儀仗隊於2018年5月4日成立，旨在秉持愛國愛澳的信念，繼承先輩遺志，弘揚愛國主義精神。為紀念國旗儀仗隊建隊五周年，適逢臨近五四青年節，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊舉辦系列活動，鼓勵隊員發揚五四精神，充分展現新時代青年奮發向上的精神面貌。

澳門大學國旗儀仗隊於2023年5月3日下午舉辦建隊五周年慶典暨表彰大會。典禮開始前席，現場氣氛已被澳大國旗儀仗隊融媒體所製作串聯的內地17間高校送上的祝福視頻作了暖身，為陸陸續續進場入席的來賓帶來喜慶氣氛。出席本次活動的嘉賓有澳門大學校長宋永華教授、學生事務副校長兼霍英東珍禧書院院長莫啟明教授、學生事務長彭執中先生、曹光彪書院院長劉潤東博士、鄭裕彤書院代院長黃承發教授、蔡繼有書院院長梁美兒教授、呂志和書院院長藍志雄教授、滿珍紀念書院院長張國祥教授、紹邦書院代院長譚錫忠教授、校長辦公室主任汪淇女士、校董會秘書長梁佳俊博士、學生輔導處處長蘇桂龍博士、學生發展處處長姚秀麗女士、學生資源處處長周佩貞女士。

澳門大學校長宋永華教授致辭，為慶典活動拉開序幕。宋校長表示，國旗儀仗隊作為愛國主義精神的體現，是愛國教育的重要載體。他對旗隊開展的愛國愛澳主題活動取得的佳績表示祝賀，鼓勵國旗儀仗隊隊員勇擔青春使命，成為國旗的守護者和國旗文化的傳承者。宋校長高度表揚旗隊對澳大和社會的貢獻，包括“澳大國旗儀式隊走進書院計劃”、“澳大國旗儀式隊走進澳門校園計劃”、中國共產黨第二十次全國代表大會、為全民國家安全教育日於橫琴哈羅禮德學校進行升國旗儀式，以及澳大國旗儀仗隊融媒體的成立。

“2021／2022學年國旗儀仗隊最佳積極支持書院獎”由呂志和書院獲得。宋永華校長對此前國旗儀仗隊舉辦的隊內儀仗司儀技能賽中表現傑出的分隊和隊員頒發了最佳執行分隊和最佳特崗個人獎項。莫啓明副校長則頒發任命書予執行隊長、副隊長及旗隊骨幹成員。彭執中事務長向融媒體成員頒發委任書及向澳門大學國旗儀仗隊的教官周昌華先生頒發感謝狀，以感謝他對國旗儀仗隊的指導。校長辦公室主任汪淇女士，為新隊員代表即訓練標兵獲得者頒發委任書及肩章。學生資源處處長周佩貞女士為國旗儀仗隊退役隊員頒發證書，感謝她們對旗隊發展做出的巨大貢獻。

隨後，慶典上播放了國旗儀仗隊歷時一年開展“走進書院”系列活動的紀念視頻，紹邦書院合唱團亦帶來精彩的合唱《我和我的祖國》，慶祝旗隊開展的“走進書院”國旗文化宣傳系列活動順利收官。同時，慶典也播放了澳門大學國旗儀仗隊五周年紀念視頻，帶領在場觀衆回顧這支被央視稱為“澳大第一天團”的五年護旗生涯。

回顧過去，澳門大學國旗儀仗隊已成立五載，在學校和社會各界的大力支持下，旗隊從建隊初期到如今成爲一支具有一定規模的優秀隊伍；從“雙手護國旗，鐵肩承兩制”到“鑄造澳門大學最靚麗的風景線”再到“心懷家國，身行儀仗，思重學業，素能綜合”，體現了每屆隊員力求旗隊更好發展的理想與規劃。

The UM National Flag Team (NFT) was established on 4^th May 2018 to uphold the belief of patriotism and love for Macau, to inherit the legacy of our ancestors, and to promote the spirit of patriotism. To commemorate the 104^th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and the 5^th anniversary of NFT, they organized a series of activities to encourage its members to carry forward the spirit of May Fourth and fully demonstrate the vigorous spirit of young people in the new era.

On 3^rd May 2023, the NFT held the 5^th Anniversary Celebration and Commendation Ceremony. Prior to the commencement of the ceremony, the NFT Media Team presented a video featuring greetings from 17 universities in the Mainland China. The inclusion of this video created a festive atmosphere for those in attendance. The Rector of the University of Macau, Prof. Song Yonghua; the Vice Rector (Student Affairs) and HFPJC Master, Prof. Mok Kai Meng; the Dean of Students, Mr. Paul Pang; CKPC Master, Dr. Lau Yun Tung; CYTC Master, Prof. Alfred Wong; CKYC Master, Prof. Leung May Yee; LCWC Master, Prof. Desmond Lam; MCMC Master, Prof. Cheung Kwok Cheung; SPC Master, Prof. Tam Sik Chung; Director of the Rector’s Office, Ms. Carol Wang; Secretary General of the UMDF Board Members, Dr. Chris Leung; Head of Student Counselling Section,  Dr. Elvo Sou; Head of Student Development Section, Ms. Stephanie Io; and Head of Student Resources Section, Ms. Anita Chau attended this ceremony.

The Rector, Prof. Song Yonghua gave a speech to commence the celebration. Rector Song said that NFT, which is an important carrier for patriotic education, acts as the embodiment of patriotism. He congratulated the NFT for the success of the patriotic activities and encouraged the NFT members to take up the youthful mission and become the guardians of the national flag and the inheritors of the National Flag culture. Rector Song also appreciated the NFT new contributions both inside the campus and to the society throughout AY22/23: Talk Series for “Walking into RC”, Talk Series for “Walking into Macao Schools”, Live Streaming for the 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Flag Raising Ceremony for the National Security Education Day held in Hengqin and the establishment of UM NFT Media Team.  

“The Award for the Most Supportive College” in AY21/22 was presented to LCWC by Rector Song. Rector Song also presented the awards for the best execution team and the best individual of special post to the team members with outstanding performance in the previous honoring guard skills competition held by the NFT. Vice-rector (Student Affairs), Prof. Mok Kai Meng presented the Certificate of Appointment to the Executive Captain and the Vice-captains. Moreover, Mr. Paul Pang presented Certificate of Appointment to UM NFT Media Team and a Certificate of Appreciation to the NFT Coach, Mr. Zhou Chang Hua for great gratitude of his guidance to the NFT. Director of the Rector’s Office, Ms. Carol Wang presented the Certificate of Appointment to the new NFT members whereas the Head of the Student Resources Section, Ms. Anita Chau presented the Certificate to the graduating NFT members.

After that, a video commemorating the year-long NFT Seminar Series of “Walk into Colleges” was screened, then SPC Choir presented the song of “My People, My Country” to celebrate the successful closure of the NFT Seminar Series “Walk into Colleges. At the same time, the video commemorating the 5^th anniversary of NFT was played, leading the audience to review the five-year flag honoring guard career of this team, and was called “the UM First Band” by CCTV.

Looking back, the UM NFT has been established for five years. With the support of the University and the community, the team has grown from the early stage of its establishment to become an outstanding team of a certain scale; from “protecting the National Flag with both hands and bearing the two systems with iron shoulders” to “creating the most beautiful scenery of UM” and then to “loving the country with heart, acting the honor guard with body, thinking the importance of studies, integrating the qualities above”, it embodies the ideal and planning of each team member striving for better development of NFT.
