2024-2025 CICA Masters’ Cup – Table Tennis Competition was held successfully

The “2024-2025 CICA Masters’ Cup – Table Tennis Competition”, co-organized by Committee on Inter-College Affairs (CICA) and OSA, was held successfully.

The preliminary round was held on 22 Mar in which 10 college teams were divided into two groups, the best 2 teams of each group would be qualified for the final round which took place on 29 Mar.

我覺得今次的CICA乒乓球比賽安排得非常好，看到同學們都打得非常出色，球速快，比賽氛圍也很好，最近我發現同學們都非常喜歡這項運動，所以大家都非常興奮。最令我印象深刻的是同學們在比賽中展現出的拼搏和團隊合作精神，希望大家下年可再接再厲，繼續發揚這種精神，讓乒乓球運動在我們學校越辦越好。

Train the Trainer Programme (T.T.T.)
“2024 Elementary Basketball Referee and Table Officials Training Course” was held successfully

The Train the Trainer Programme (T.T.T.) – “2024 Elementary Basketball Referee and Table Officials Training Course” was held successfully. This course is co-organized by Office of Sports Affairs and Macau-China Basketball Association (中國澳門籃球總會).

Six students from the University of Macau have completed the theory and passed the written exam in the training course, they are AO IEONG LEONG KIT (FBA/HFPJC), LIU CHUNFA (IAPME), LIANG YING (FSS), LIU YITONG (FBA/HFPJC), NG CHI CHENG (FED/HFPJC), WAT LOK IN (FBA/SHEAC), and WONG CHENG HOU (FSS/LCWC). The six students will proceed to the next stage of training and internships to obtain Level C License Basketball Referee certifications.

UM Track and Field Team won 6 Golds, 5 Silvers, 4 Bronzes at “2024 Macao (Autumn) Track and Field Competition”

The “2024 Macao (Autumn) Track and Field Competition” was held from 12 to 13 Oct at Olympic Sports Centre – Stadium. It was organized by General Association of Athletics of Macau. This is one of the largest Track and Field Competitions in Macao, with participants from various sports clubs and organizations.

UM Track and Field Team sent 23 members (14 men and 9 women) to participate in this event and won 6 golds, 5 silvers and 4 bronzes. All team members demonstrated outstanding performance and sportsmanship in the competition.

Activity Highlights

UM Track and Field Team won 2 Silvers, 2 Bronzes at “WSE Athletics Open Shanghai”

The “WSE Athletics Open Shanghai” was held in Shanghai from 21 to 22 Sep, attracting athletes from numerous sports clubs and organizations all over China. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and fostered friendship among the participants. The University of Macau Track and Field Team sent two members to participate in this competitive event and won 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals finally.

2024 Elementary Basketball Referee and Table Officials Training Course

Training Course Arrangement:
Theory and Practical Training:
3-6 Sep 19:00-23:00 (Tap Seac Multi-sport Pavilion-Room B229)
7 Sep 14:00-20:00 (UM Sports Complex N8 Training Hall B)
8 Sep 10:00-19:00 (UM Sports Complex N8 Training Hall B)
Internship:
Sep 2024-Mar 2025 (provided by Macau-China Basketball Association)

Target Participants:
UM Students (max. 25)

Application Deadline:
1 SEP 2024 (First-come, first-served basis.)

Language:
Cantonese (supplemented with English)

Fee:
Free of Charge (for UM Students)

Certificate:
Complete the theory (attendance reached 80%) and pass the written exam and practical training, students will receive a T.T.T. certificate issued by the Office of Sports Affairs at the end of the Academic Year and a completion of certificate issued by the Macau-China Basketball Association.

License:
Complete the theory and pass the written exam, practical training and Internship will receive a Level C License issued by the Macau-China Basketball Association.

理論課及場上實地練習:
9月3-6日 19:00-23:00 (塔石體育館 B229室)
9月7日 14:00-20:00 (澳大綜合體育館(N8) – 訓練館 B館)
9月8日 10:00-19:00 (澳大綜合體育館(N8) – 訓練館 B館)
比賽實習:
2024年9月 – 2025年3月 (由中國澳門籃球總會提供)

參加對象:
澳大學生 (名額:25人)

上課語言:
粵語 (英語輔助)

費用:
免費 (澳大學生)

證書:
完成理論課 (出席率達80%) 並通過筆試及場上實地練習評核，期末可獲由體育事務部發出的學生教練員培訓計劃證書及由中國澳門籃球總會發出的課程完成證書。

執照:
完成理論課並通過筆試、場上實地練習及比賽實習將獲得由中國澳門籃球總會發出的 Level C 執照。
