Services affected

在整個升級期間，以下網絡文件服務將會受到影響：

  • 檔案分享 – Drive N
  • 個人文件夾 – Drive H
  • 網絡應用程式 – Drive G (EViews)

為減低對用戶的影響，將會分兩階段進行：

  1. 在首階段（2023年6月10日下午6:00至2023年6月11日上午9:00)，上述網絡文件服務只供用戶讀取，用戶不能儲存或修改文件。
  2. 在次階段（2023年6月11日上午9:00至2023年6月11日下午2:00)，相關服務將會暫停，維護工作完成後所有服務將恢復正常。

在完成升級後，現有的檔案分享 Drive N 目錄路徑將有所改變，由原來的 “N:\DeptShare\<部門文件夾>” 上移一層至 “N:\<部門文件夾>”。我們會於 “N:\DeptShare\” 內創建捷徑，幫助用戶自動跳轉到新的文件夾目錄。如用戶曾於自己的電腦上自行創建捷徑，屆時需重新創建新捷徑，如有需要可聯絡我們的服務中心尋求協助。

如果未能打開上述網絡磁盤，請重新登入或重啟電腦以恢復連接。

During the upgrade period, the following network file service will be affected.

  • File sharing – Drive N
  • Home Directory – Drive H
  • Network Application – Drive G (Eviews)

To minimize the service downtime, it will be carried out in two phases as following:

  1. For the first phase (from 10th June 2023 6:00 pm to 11th June 2023 9:00 am), the above network drive service can be READ ONLY, users cannot save or modify any documents.
  2. For the next phase (from 11th June 2023 9:00 am to 2:00 pm), All network drive services will be suspended. The service will be resumed once the above maintenance jobs are completed.

After the upgrade, the folder path on file sharing Drive N will be changed from the current “N:\DeptShare\” to “N:\”. We will create a shortcut in “N:\DeptShare\” so that users can access the new folder path automatically. If users have created a shortcut on their computer before, they will need to create it again. If necessary, please contact our Help Desk for assistance.

If you cannot open the above network drives, please log in again or restart your computer to restore the connection.

上述服務在維護期間將出現短暫停頓，維護完成後，所有服務將恢復正常。Mac用戶或許需要重新設定打印機才能使用打印服務，可參閱以下連結重新加入打印機，又或聯絡ICTO服務中心尋求協助。
The above service might have intermittence interruptions during maintenance period. They will be resumed as normal once the maintenance is done. Mac users may need to reset the printer setting to resume the printing service, please refer to the following link to re-add the printer, or contact the ICTO Helpdesk for assistance.
