Activity Series of Healthy University 2023: “Green” Recycling Activity for Potted Plant Redemption

各位同事及同學：

為了喚醒澳大人乾淨回收的意識，安健及環境事務辦公室將舉辧「植」得回收活動，作為健康大學系列活動2023其中一個項目。這個以回收物品換領植物的活動，只需要憑十個膠樽、鋁罐或玻璃樽，即可到指定地點換領小盆栽(網紋草)一盆，藉此為澳大人營造清新美觀的小環境，調節心情、緩解壓力。網紋草簡單易種植，大家不容錯過!

In order to enhance the awareness of clean recycling among UM members, the Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs is going to organize a potted plant redemption activity as one of the activities of Healthy University 2023.  Participants will only need to collect 10 plastic/glass bottles or aluminum cans to exchange for a potted plant (Fittonia) at the designated location, and we expect these plants help UM members to refresh their living/working space and to relieve their stress a bit.  Fittonia is easy to handle, don’t miss the chance!

Low-Carbon Mid-Autumn Festival：
  1. Participate in mooncake boxes recycling;
  2. Purchase mooncakes with environmental friendly packaging;
  3. Reuse old lanterns or donate to the needy;
  4. Reduce waste generation during celebration and take part in recycling;
  5. Think carefully the quantity of mooncakes you need before purchase;
  6. If there are mooncakes more than you need, give them to other people/ organizations before the due date.
  7. Avoid using plastic bag when buying festive food;
  8. Practise green travelling with family and friends.

秋高氣爽，最適宜到郊外遠足，呼吸新鮮空氣，舒展筋骨。

安健及環境事務辦公室將舉辨秋季遠足活動，沿途可欣賞黑沙龍爪角海岸徑的山水美景。海岸徑沿途奇岩異石偏佈，海岸生態豐富，是遠足的好去處，不容錯過!!

With the autumn breeze, it is best to go hiking to breathe in fresh air and stretch your body.

HSEO is organizing a hiking for UM members to appraise the beauties along Hác-Sá Long Chao Kok Family Trail. Hikers can view strange shaped rocks and coastline plantations along the trail. It’s really a very nice place for hiking, don’t miss the chance!!
