2023年3月22日，QS世界大學排名發布了最新的排名結果，澳門大學在“酒店管理”學科排名中位列全球前100名，排名範圍為51-100位。該排名突顯了澳門大學在“酒店管理”學科上的優勢與實力。

澳門大學工商管理學院綜合度假村及旅遊管理學系成立於2019年3月，是澳門大學標誌性學科之一。學系年輕而充滿活力，成立至今已經展示了強勁的人才培養與科研實力，對旅遊及酒店業發展做出了卓越貢獻。該系立志於培養綜合度假村及旅遊管理的領軍人才，從事優質與創新的學術研究，並堅持在本澳、亞太區域及全球範圍內為業界及社會的旅遊可持續發展做出貢獻。

UM ranked top 100 in the 2023 QS World University Rankings for Hospitality and Leisure Management

 

On March 22, 2023, QS released its latest ranking results, and The University of Macau (UM) is ranked within the top 100 globally in the QS World University Rankings in the “Hospitality and Leisure Management” subject, with a ranking range of 51-100. The ranking highlights the strengths and capabilities of UM in the field of hospitality and leisure management.

 

The Department of Integrated Resort and Tourism Management (DRTM) at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Macau, was established in March 2019. As a young and vibrant department, DRTM has already demonstrated strong talent development and research capabilities and has made landmark contributions to the tourism and hospitality industries. DRTM aspires to develop the next generation of leaders in integrated resort and tourism management, engage in quality and innovative academic research, and continuously contribute to the sustainable development of the industry and community locally, regionally, and globally.

 

Being part of the QS World University Rankings and achieving such excellent results in the “Hospitality and Leisure Management” subject demonstrates that the efforts of DRTM in talent development, research, and social practice and services have been recognized by its industry partners, employers, and academic peers. Moving forward, DRTM will continue to focus on enhancing the quality of talent development, research, social practice, and services, as well as contribute to the high-quality and sustainable development of the global tourism and hospitality industry while promoting the construction of Macau as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”

Competition for Macao tertiary institutions on innovative business plans for markets 2023 is now open for application

致各位同學：

由市政署主辦、澳門大學工商管理學院協辦之「2023全澳大專院校街市營商創新方案競賽」將於2023年3月10日至17日開始報名，截止遞交營銷方案日期為4月19日，比賽活動設冠、亞、季軍各一名，優異奬三名；另設最佳創意概念奬、最佳實用功能奬、及最佳路演奬各一名。冠軍隊伍將可獲價值澳門元一萬元禮券、獎盃及奬狀等。

市政署透過持續優化公共街市設施配套及相關服務，推動街市的可持續發展。為了讓年青一代更好地認識並參與街市的發展，市政署以“凝聚社區、活化創新”為主題舉辦“2023全澳大專院校街市營商創新方案競賽”，誠邀本澳高等院校在讀學生參加。冀藉是次活動提升本地高等教育院校學生對街市攤販之營銷環境及街市服務的認識，從中廣納青年創意，發掘街市未來發展的不同可能性。比賽模擬氹仔街巿翻新後之指定區域，在符合公共街巿的相關法規、攤位設施配置及售賣種類等條件下設計營銷方案。

為了讓參賽者更好地掌握街市營商現況，參賽者必須出席由主辦單位將安排工作坊及實地參觀，以便計劃出更符合社區發展需要的方案，而獲獎方案將會作公開展出。

Dear students,

The “Competition for Macao tertiary institutions on innovative business plans for markets 2023” sponsored by the Municipal Affairs Bureau and co-organized by the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Macau will open for registration from March 10 to 17, 2023, and the deadline for submission of marketing proposals is April 19 , the competition will set up a champion, first runner-up, and third runner-up, and three merit awards; there will also be one best creative concept award, best practical function award, and best road show award. The champion team will receive gift certificates worth MOP 10,000, trophies and certificates, etc.

The IAM promotes the sustainable development of public markets through continuous optimization of public market facilities and related services. In order to allow the younger generation to better understand and participate in the development of wet markets, the Municipal Affairs Bureau held the “2023 Macao Higher Education Institutions Market Business Innovation Scheme Competition” with the theme of “Cohesive Communities, Revitalization and Innovation”, and sincerely invite students from local higher education institutions Students participate. It is hoped that through this event, students of local higher education institutions will have a better understanding of the marketing environment and market services of market vendors, so as to attract young people’s creativity and explore different possibilities for the future development of markets. The competition simulates the designated area after the renovation of the Taipa Market, and designs a marketing plan in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations of the public market, the configuration of booth facilities, and the types of sales.

In order to allow participants to better understand the current market business conditions, participants must attend workshops and on-site visits arranged by the organizer to plan a plan that better meets the needs of community development, and the winning plans will be exhibited publicly.

Students from all colleges and universities are welcome to form teams to participate.
