【澳門中樂團《從秋決到火祭》】

澳門中樂團首席客席指揮兼藝術顧問周熙杰將率領中樂團演奏五部先後於1970年代至2000年代寫成的經典新派作品，檢視當中在今天聽來仍然前衛的先鋒創意。林樂培《秋決》重新演繹《竇娥冤》，將戲曲唱腔融入器樂演奏，六月飛霜的場景至今仍能震撼觀眾。關廼忠所寫的《拉薩行》，以新穎的配器呈現作者心目中的西藏景物。劉星《第二民族交響樂》配器大膽，實驗樂團組合的全新可能，也探索爵士樂與中樂結合的無盡空間。陳明志《精‧氣‧神》以現代作曲技法詮釋中國哲學，以聲響帶出別具想象力的意象。譚盾胡琴協奏曲《火祭》充滿不尋常的演奏技法甚至叫喊，獨奏更需有駕馭高胡、二胡、中胡三種胡琴的技藝，這次觀眾可以欣賞到香港演藝學院中樂系系主任張重雪的過人實力。

Macao Chinese Orchestra “From Autumn Execution to Fire Ritual”

True creativity never dwindles. Chew Hee Chiat, the Principal Guest Conductor and Artistic Advisor of OCHM, will lead the orchestra in four New School pieces from 1970s to 2000s, whose pioneering ideas are still relevant. Doming Lam’s Autumn Execution, a reinterpretation of The Injustice to Dou E, combines Chinese opera singing with instrumental music, with the scene of snowfall in midsummer still amazing audiences. Liu Xing’s Symphony No. 2 for Chinese Orchestra is boldly orchestrated, exploring new combinations in Chinese music and its integration with jazz. Chan Ming-chi’s Jing‧Qi‧Shen uses modern compositional techniques to interpret Chinese philosophy, producing unique sound imagery. Tan Dun’s huqin concerto Fire Ritual is full of unusual techniques and even yelling, requiring the soloist’s mastery of three types of huqins: Gaohu, Erhu and Zhonghu. This time, the public can enjoy the virtuosity of Huqin master Zhang Chongxue, Head of Chinese Music Department, at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA).

音樂劇《朝暮有情人》

「一部劇 ，兩座城，三代人，十七首歌」

故事站在女性的角度，解讀情感迷惘期下不同階段的女性面對愛情的方式。“朝暮有情人”，“朝暮”不僅是每一天，更是從青春到年老，從人生的朝陽到遲暮。

全劇緊密地與當下的家庭生活連結在一起，詮釋出不同家庭成員間的情感需求，以及每個人應該用何種態度對待生活。

劇中依不同角色安排不同曲風，包括:百老匯曲風﹑說唱和粵曲小調等。 17段風格迥異的音樂﹐恰如其分地外化為劇中角色的內心表達，既抒發劇中人的情感訴求，同時亦貼合著當下的現實生活。

經歷多次巡演，均獲一致好評。音樂劇《朝暮有情人》澳門版本以實力強勁的港澳演員班底 : 麥紫筠﹑李俊傑﹑廖愛玲﹑鄺為立﹑袁安婷﹑彭展鏗傾力演出﹐值得期待！

澳門大學舞蹈隊獲粵港澳大灣區大學生藝術節三等獎

澳門大學舞蹈隊於2023年10月26日至28日獲選參加第三屆粵港澳大灣區大學生藝術節，在舞蹈類(非專業組)展演中嶄露頭角，是唯一一所參加舞蹈類(非專業組)展演的澳門高校並榮獲三等獎。是次活動以“多彩大灣區，藝起向未來”為主題，旨為促進粵港澳大灣區大學生之間的交流，搭建互相學習、互相促進、共同發展的平台，展現新時代粵港澳大學生的精神風貌。現場藝術類展演分為專業及非專業組，類別有聲樂、器樂、舞蹈類，同場展示各入選大灣區高校的中國畫、書法、攝影、平面設計展覽。同場，受南方科技大學邀請，舞蹈隊同學代表參加粵港澳大灣區藝術節師生交流座談會，與三地高校同學交流分享各自的大學學習和生活點滴。

第三屆粵港澳大灣區大學生藝術節由廣東省教育廳主辦，南方科技大學承辦。粵港澳大灣區大學生藝術節是大灣區高校學生藝術交流的重要舞台。澳門大學舞蹈隊同學透過舞蹈作品，展示出色的舞蹈創意及才華，與其他高校學生進行藝術學習及交流。澳門大學舞蹈隊將繼續積極參加不同藝術活動，展示更多精彩的表演。

 

University of Macau Dance Troupe Received Third Prize at the Greater Bay Area’s University Students Art Festival

The University of Macau Dance Troupe (UMDT) was selected to participate in the 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area’s University Students Art Festival from 26 to 28 October 2023. The troupe made a remarkable impression during the dance category (non-professional group) and was the only dance team from the Macao universities selected in the category and received third prize. The theme of this event was “Colorful Greater Bay Area, Art Rises to the Future”, aiming to promote communication among university students in the Greater Bay Area, providing a platform for mutual learning, and mutual development, and showcasing the spirit of the university students from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. The on-site art exhibitions were divided into professional and non-professional categories, including vocal music, instrumental music, and dance performances, as well as Chinese painting, calligraphy, photography, and graphic design exhibitions from selected universities in the Greater Bay Area. Moreover, invited by the Southern University of Science and Technology, representatives of UMDT participated in an exchange meeting with students from the Greater Bay Area, where they engaged in mutual exchanges regarding their respective learning and living experiences on campus.

The 3rd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area’s University Students Art Festival was organized by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province and held by the Southern University of Science and Technology. The art festival is an important platform for artistic exchanges among university students from the Greater Bay Area. UMDT members can showcase their creativity and talent through dance performances and engage in artistic learning and exchange with other universities. UMDT will continue to participate in various art activities and actively present more spectacular dance performances.

澳大國旗儀仗隊、文化藝術校隊參加“家國情懷延展教育計劃”

為響應特區推動加深青年學生對國家歷史文化及澳門社會發展的認識，澳門大學學生資源處於2月21日組織及帶領近40名國旗儀仗隊、文化藝術校隊同學前往參觀由教青局推出的“家國情懷延展教育計劃”學習點，學習點包括青少年愛國愛澳教育基地、澳門博物館、澳門回歸賀禮陳列館、澳門基本法紀念館。

是次國旗儀仗隊及文化藝術校隊同學於青少年愛國愛澳教育基地及澳門回歸賀禮陳列館參館學習。青少年愛國愛澳教育基地同時展覽與廣東省博物館合作的“國情鄉情－嶺南文化與澳門”，還有“華夏文化傳承下的澳門”及“教育及青年發展局普法教育工作長廊”展區，以多媒體、展品等介紹嶺南文化與澳門的關係，以及在國家現代化發展中擔當的角色。而澳門回歸賀禮陳列館展示了為了祝賀澳門特別行政區成立，由五十六個民族組成的中華民族大家庭，包括國務院及三十二個省、自治區、直轄市和香港特別行政區，送上的祝福和吉祥的賀禮，這些賀禮不僅蘊含美好的寓意，更象徵著祖國的繁榮昌盛。透過這個教育計劃，同學們能在繁忙的學習生活中以多元化的互動形式，深入了解祖國和澳門的歷史和社會發展的關注。

NFT and C&A U-teams participated in the “DSEDJ’s Patriotism Extended Education Plan”

In response to the Macao SAR’s efforts to enhance young students’ awareness of national history, culture, and the development of Macao’s society, the Student Resources Section (SRS) of the University of Macau organized and led nearly 40 members of the National Flag Team (NFT) and Cultural & Arts U-teams (C&A U-teams) to visit the sites of the “Patriotism Extended Education Plan.” These sites included the Loving the Country, Loving Macao Education Base for Young People, the Macao Museum, the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao, and the Commemorative Gallery of the Macao Basic Law.  

During the visit, the students of the NFT and C&A U-teams had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the history and social development of the motherland and Macau through visiting the Loving the Country, Loving Macao Education Base for Young People and the Handover Gifts Museum of Macao. The Education Base exhibits the collaboration with the Guangdong Museum — “Love the motherland – Lingnan Culture and Macao”, and other exhibitions “Macau under the Inheritance of Chinese Culture” and the “Public Legal Education Work Corridor of DSEDJ”. The exhibitions display the relationship between Lingnan culture and Macao, as well as the role played by Macao in the country’s modernization development through multimedia and exhibits. The Handover Gifts Museum of Macao displays congratulatory gifts and blessings from the Chinese nation, consisting of 56 ethnic groups, including the State Council and the 32 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and the Hong Kong SAR. These gifts not only carried auspicious meanings but also symbolized the prosperity of the motherland. This visit provided the students with a valuable national education learning experience alongside their university studies.

2023/2024 UM Speech Contest 

To promote the learning atmosphere and campus speech development at the University of Macau, an internal speech competition will be held. Through this competition, students will have a deeper understanding of the “One Country, Two Systems” policy and explore their roles and responsibilities in the development of the Macao SAR. The competition also serves as a platform for students to showcase their speech skills, expressive abilities, creativity, and thinking skills to others through public speaking. Additionally, professors and speech experts will be invited to serve as judges, providing students with the opportunity to further enhance their speech skills and expressive abilities under professional guidance.

Interested staff or students are welcome to attend the finals of the 2023/2024 UM Speech Contest as audiences. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Target audience: Undergraduate students at the University of Macau

Speech topic: Growing with the Special Administrative Region, creating a new chapter of “One Country, Two Systems”

Finals (3-4 minute public speech):

Scoring criteria: Speech content 50%, expressive skills 40%, overall effect 10% (deduction of 5 points for every 10 seconds of overtime)

*Students who attend the WHOLE talk will be awarded 1 smart point 20 “UM Competencies (CS)” on “Responsible citizenship” in the Whole Person Development Award Programme.

  2. Students who arrive late or leave early over 10 minutes will NOT be given any Smart Point.
  3. Students who leave the venue during the activity for over 15 minutes will NOT be given any Smart Points.
  4. Students are required to check in/out of the activity with their valid Student ID Card.
  5. For those who do not respect the activity or ignore the staff’s guidance, the Student Affairs Office (SAO) reserves the right to cancel his/her Smart Point. SAO also reserves the right to interpret and process the Smart Point scheme.
