To align with the principle of energy conservation, our University will join the “Earth Hour 2025” lights-out campaign, which will take place at 8:30 p.m. on 22 March 2025 (Saturday). Partial lightings in the lobbies of the following buildings will be switched off for one hour, only essential lightings will remain:

You are also encouraged to turn off unnecessary lights in the dormitory or at home to support this meaningful activity!

Dear Students and Colleagues,

The Chinese and Portuguese signs of “The University of Macau” on the rooftops of N23 and N24 research buildings are currently undergoing lighting equipment replacement. Due to operational needs, brightness and uniformity adjustments will be conducted at night, when the lights will be intermittently or partially turned on or off. The adjustment work will be concluded by 21:00 each night, and the project is expected to be completed by early January 2025.

Please be informed that the replacement work of Uninterruptible Power Supply System Main Unit will be conducted at N1 UM Guest House on 14 December 2024 (Saturday). The network services (including wired, wireless, IP phone and internet access services) and television service will be suspended during the following period.

The network services will be resumed once the works are completed.
