Smoking is prohibited in UM campus except designated smoking zones

按照經第13/2022號法律修改第5/2011號法律《預防及控制吸煙制度》規定，澳大校園指定吸煙區範圍以外是禁止吸煙的。衛生局控煙督察會不定時到澳大校園巡查，大家切勿以身示法。

 

校內指定吸煙區：

1. 薈萃街與居易大道交界 2. 學生活動中心(E31)與法學院(E32)之間
   
3. 科研大樓北二十二座(N22)與科研大樓北二十四座(N24)之間 4. 連接科技學院(E11)與健康科學學院(E12)之連廊
   
5. 社會科學學院(E21B)與工商管理學院(E22)之間的平台角落

According to the Law No. 13/2022: Amendment to Law No. 5/2011 Regime of Tobacco Prevention and Control, smoking is prohibited in UM campus except designated smoking zones. Tobacco control inspectors from Health Bureau will visit UM campus for inspection from time to time. Please do not try to violate the law.

1. Junction between Mall Street and Residence Avenue 2. between Student Activity Centre (E31) and Faculty of Law (E32)
   
3. between Research Building N22 and Research Building N24 4. Sky-lobby connecting Faculty of Science and Technology (E11) and Faculty of Health Sciences (E12)

澳大校園捐血日又來了!
安健及環境事務辦公室與澳門特別行政區政府衛生局屬下的捐血中心將於學生活動中心(E31)舉辦捐血日，期望大家積極捐血，為有需要的人出一點力。歡迎所有澳大教職員、學生、本地及非本地市民，首次捐血人士或多次捐血人士可獲贈不同的紀念品。

“Blood Donation in UM Campus” is coming again!
Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs is organizing it at Student Activity Centre (E31) with Macao Blood Transfusion Service, a department under Health Bureau of Government of Macao S.A.R. All UM staff, students, local and non-local residents are welcome to donate blood and help those who are in need in the community. Various souvenirs will be given to 1st-time donors as well as frequent donors.

Dear students,

The new academic year has just started! As a member of the “Healthy Campus” Program, UM has been enhancing all UM members’ awareness on health, safety and environmental protection. Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs (HSEO) is now recruiting UM students to participate in the Health & Environmental Protection Ambassador Program 2024/2025. Activities in this academic year include Healthy University Month, free vaccination of Seasonal Influenza, visit to eco-friendly or health facilities, training, health seminar, hiking, etc.

Health & Environmental Protection Ambassadors (HEPAs) have the priority in joining these activities, and will be awarded with HEP FUN. Certificates and vouchers to be used in campus will be presented to those who accumulate at least 10 HEP FUN in this academic year. Successful HEPAs will also be invited to join the learning and exchange tour. Besides, subject to conditions of individual activities, HEPAs will be granted Smart Point, CS of the Whole Person Development Award Program and souvenir, etc.

Dear students,

近日澳門出現幾宗輸入性登革熱個案。登革熱是由登革熱病毒引起的，經由白紋伊蚊傳播的急性傳染病，目前仍未有有效的疫苗。澳門特別行政區政府衛生局制定了預防登革熱的指引，請大家參閱連結(暫時只有中文版)並採取有需要的預防措施。

Recently there are several imported cases of dengue fever in Macao. Dengue fever is an acute infectious disease caused by dengue virus and spread by aedes albopictus (mosquitoes). At present no vaccines is available for preventing dengue fever. In this case, Health Bureau of Government of Macao S.A.R. has issued guidelines for effective prevention. 為讓大家了解澳門特區政府與北京協和醫院合作營運的離島醫療綜合體北京協和醫院澳門醫學中心(簡稱澳門協和醫院)的服務，安健及環境事務辦公室於5月22日帶領三十多位教職員及學生在醫院正式投入服務前一同前往參觀。以下是其中的一些活動花絮，期待日後與大家一同參與活動，共建健康校園。

To let UM members be familiar with the services of the Islands Healthcare Complex – Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (commonly known as Macao Union Hospital) established by the Government of Macao S.A.R. with the support of the central government, Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs visited the hospital with about 30 staff and students on 22nd May, before it commences operation. Health Tips (May 2024): Store and Discard Medicine Properly

親愛的同事及同學們：

很多人都會明白藥物必須依照醫生的指示服用，否則可能會影響藥效，甚至產生不良副作用。另一方面，儲存藥物及棄置不需要的藥物也有很多需要注意的事項。

儲存藥物

  • 藥物要鎖在藥箱內。
  • 不宜把藥物放在儲存食物的容器內。避免讓兒童接觸到藥物，以致意外吞下。
  • 一般藥物應儲存在陰涼乾燥的地方，但有部份藥物如胰島素製劑及加水調配的抗生素，則應存在雪櫃內，但勿儲存於冰格內。
  • 切勿將藥物轉入其他藥物瓶內或將多種藥物放入同一個藥瓶內。

棄置藥物

留意藥物的有效期，過期或已變質的藥物應按衛生局的指引棄置到衛生局轄下各衛生中心或仁伯爵綜合醫院的藥物收集箱。胡亂棄置藥物不但有機會被人拾取或誤服，更有機會破壞生態環境。

 Dear colleagues and students,

It is well understood that we should take medicine according to the doctor’s advice to avoid ineffective treatment or adverse effects. On the other hand, we should store medicine carefully, as well as discard spoiled medicine properly. The important notes below are worth our attention:

Storage of Medicine

  • Always keep medicine in a designated cabinet with a lock.
  • Don’t store medicine in food bottles. You should keep medicine out of reach of the children.
  • Medicine in general should be kept in a cool and dry place, but some of them, such as insulin products and some liquid antibiotics, should be kept in the refrigerator but not in the freezer.
  • Never put medicine in containers that are designated for other medicine. Never put different kinds of medicine in one bottle.

 

Disposal of Medicine

Check the expiry date of the medicine. Discard expired or spoiled medicine in the collection boxes located in Health Centres or Hospital Conde de São Januário of Health Bureau, according to the advice of Health Bureau. If the medicine is discarded improperly, it may be picked up by somebody or taken by mistake. The ecological environment may also be affected.
