In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized in-house training courses on “Smart Cities and Data Governance in the Chinese Mainland”, “Chinese Literature and Culture in Modern Transition” and “Significance of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” to Moderate Economic Diversification in Macao” on 3 July, 5 July, and 4 September 2024 respectively. 

Prof. SHUI Bing, Associate Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of the Public Administration Training Centre and Professor of Faculty of Law (FLL), shared the considerations of data governance during the construction of smart cities’ infrastructures in Chinese Mainland, as well as the ways for legally protecting the safety of data transferring. Over 80 colleagues attended the training.

Prof. YEUNG Siu Kwai, Associate Professor of Faculty of Education (FED), introduced the major changes in modern Chinese literature and culture, as well as the profound impact of literary and cultural transformations on China. Nearly 80 colleagues attended the training.

Prof. LEI Chun Kwok, Associate Professor of Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), introduced the background, requirement, positioning, development goals, strategies implementation and significance of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”. Over 110 colleagues attended the training. 

The University hopes that these training courses can deepen staff members’ knowledge on the development of smart cities and data governance in Mainland China, enhance their understanding on Chinese literature and culture, and provide them with insight into the economic development of Macao under the influence of the Greater Bay Area.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2024年7月3日、7月5日和9月4日分別舉辦了「內地智慧城市與數據治理」、「中國文學與文化的現代變遷」及「《粵港澳大灣區發展規劃綱要》對澳門經濟適度多元的意義」內部培訓課程。

人文社科高等研究院副院長、公共行政培訓中心主任及法學院教授稅兵教授分享了內地智慧城市建設當中的數據治理考量，以及如何讓民眾充分享受數據便利的同時享有法律的保障。超過80名員工參與此培訓。

教育學院副教授楊兆貴教授介紹了近代中國文學與文化的重大轉變，以及文學與文化轉變對中國的深遠影響。近80名員工參與此培訓。

工商管理學院副教授李振國教授介紹了《綱要》的背景、總體要求、定位、發展目標、相關策略的落實及意義。超過110名員工參與此培訓。

大學希望透過上述培訓課程加深員工對內地智慧城市與數據治理的認識，提升其對中國文學與文化的瞭解，並讓他們更深入認識在粵港澳大灣區影響下的澳門經濟發展。

UM holds a “Scam Prevention Workshop” for Academic Staff

Following the “Scam Prevention Workshop” organized for UM administrative staff in June 2024, an additional workshop aimed at raising awareness among academic staff members about the recent increase of scam cases in Macao was held on 5 September 2024 (Thursday). Ms. TAM Lai Un, Principal Criminal Investigator of the Judiciary Police, served as the guest speaker. The workshop was very well received, with nearly 60 colleagues participated.

During the workshop, Ms. TAM presented the common types of scam cases in Macao (e.g., Scam Calls, Internet Fraud, etc.), the recent upward trend of these cases, the useful techniques for scam prevention, the strategies for helping others to stay alert and prevent being victimized, as well as the functions of the anti-scam program launched by the Judiciary Police. 

The University hopes that this workshop can further deepen UM staff’s understanding on the various types of scam cases, and to strengthen their awareness on scam prevention and skills for managing such situations.

繼2024年6月為澳大行政人員舉辦之「防騙工作坊」後，為進一步增強教學人員對近日詐騙個案上升趨勢的瞭解，以及對各種有效的防騙策略的認知，大學於2024年9月5日（星期四）再次舉辦了一場工作坊，邀請了司法警察局之首席刑事偵查員譚麗園女士擔任主講嘉賓。是次工作坊反應熱烈，吸引了近60名同事參與。

譚麗園偵查員在工作坊上介紹了本澳常見的騙案手法（如：電話詐騙、網絡詐騙等）、近期詐騙個案的上升趨勢、各種有效的防騙策略、如何幫助他人提高警覺意識並預防受詐騙，以及由司法警察局推出之反詐程式中的各種功能。

大學希望透過是次工作坊，再度加強教職員對各類詐騙手法的瞭解，並提高他們的防騙意識和遇到詐騙案件時的應對技巧。

About SAFP Welfare Association:

In general, according to Regulamento Administrativo n.º30/2022, UM colleagues and their family members (those with family subsidy) will be automatically registered as a member of SAFP Welfare Association, who can bind their beneficiary card to the e-Card Pack of “Macao One Account” in order to enjoy the related benefits. For details, please refer to the poster (Attachment 2).

The following course is organized by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) to reinforce civil servants’ knowledge on the Constitution, the Basic Law and National Security.

Targets: Staff members who have not previously participated in the courses on “National Security Perspective and National Security Law” and “Defence of National Security from the Perspective of the Constitution and the Basic Law” organized by SAFP
Leading and Principal Officers (or equivalent ranks) Senior Administrative Assistants or above (or equivalent ranks) Administrative Assistants, Principal Clerks, Senior Clerks, Clerks, Skilled Workers, Semi-Skilled Workers and Janitors (or equivalent ranks)

For those who are interested, please enroll through the Assuntos Governamentais Note on or before the application deadline.

Please check your own schedule availability prior to your submission. Applicants are not recommended to withdraw from the course(s) without ground reason(s).

All enrolments will be considered as confirmed only after formal notification from the SAFP is obtained (either in official letter format or in SMS format).

Note: Assuntos Governamentais
The enrollment of courses organized by the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) and the Centro de Formação Jurídica e Judiciária (CFJJ) have to be conducted through the Assuntos Governamentais. The application and approval processes will be done through the Assuntos Governamentais by logging in “Personnel Login Account (工作人員登入號)” with the steps illustrated below:

To register “Personnel Login Account (工作人員登入號)”, please fill out the e-form and submit the signed hard copy to Ms. Josephine Wu or Ms. Cathy Lin of Human Resources Section (ext. 8696/8583). SAFP will then confirm the registration by sending the “activation code” via SMS. Please follow the instructions in the SMS to activate your account by then.

在提交報名表前，請再次查看你的日程表(包括任何學位課程或外間課程)。報名後若沒有充份原因，申請人不能隨便提出退學要求。

所有報名必須在得到行政公職局的書面或手機短訊確認後方被視為錄取。

報讀由行政公職局 (SAFP) 或法律及司法培訓中心 (CFJJ) 舉辦之培訓課程時，需透過「工作人員登入號」登入到 公務通 進行。申請及審批程序如下圖：

如需開啟「工作人員登入號」，可填寫網上報名表，將填妥表格列印並簽署後交到人力資源處胡小姐或林小姐 (內線:8696/8583) 收。行政公職局會以短訊形式確認登記並發送「啟動碼」到登記人的手提電話，屆時請按照短訊內的指示啟動登入號。
