Honours College (HC) aims to bring together high achieving undergraduates from all disciplines and create opportunities for them to achieve academic excellence, build international perspective, and establish leadership and social responsibility.

We are pleased to announce our Promotion Month, co-organized with the Honours College Student Association (HCSA), will start on September 4 through 29, 2023. During the Promotion Month, a series of activities including exhibitions, workshops, booths and games designed to provide students with insights into the HC application process and details will be launched. Please mark the below important dates:

Open Application (Application period: Mar 13-24, 2023)

Undergraduate students at 1st year of study for 4-year degree programme (2nd year of study for 5-year degree programme) who fulfil a minimum of 3.3 cumulative GPA (Cumulative Scale Average 15 for Faculty of Law) could apply through open application

“War” “Hunger” and “Refugees” are keywords that we can currently see in the news. There are many difficulties occurring globally. As UM students, we believe all of you are cordial and responsible citizens curious about global situations and ways to help them.

We are glad to have invited World Vision to conduct a “Social Innovation (Technology)” Talk to share about their experiences of different rescue activities.

Followed by a “Tote Bag Drawing” Workshop, allowing you to create your custom-made tote bag.

💬”From the background of childhood trauma to the experience of depression and self-mutilation while studying in France…”

The lecturer, Ms. Alice Kok, will talk about how to understand oneself through artistic practices, and then through meditation and mindfulness to understand the workings of the self, to master one’s own path, and thus to be more empathetic to others. ‍♀️

In the second part of the session, Ms. Alice Kok will conduct a workshop with the participants to experience how mindfulness can enhance our perceptiveness and creativity.
