澳大與國家法官學院合辦中國高級法官培訓專案

為落實國家培養涉外法治人才的需要,澳門大學與國家法官學院聯合舉辦中國高級法官培訓專案並於今(22)日舉行開班儀式。

澳大法學院與國家法官學院於2021年簽署合作協議,每年招收5至10名高級法官和20名優秀法官或法官助理於澳大法學院全脫產學習,攻讀法學博士及法學碩士學位。過去兩年的學員已在各類中英文核心期刊發表論文,取得豐富的學術成果。

澳大校長宋永華致辭時表示,澳大法學院作為澳門百年歷史上的第一所法學院,始終專注於解決有關國家、社會發展的全局性、關鍵性難題,形成了一批具有廣泛影響、貼近社會需求的研究成果,為推動國家治理體系和治理能力現代化、提升粵港澳大灣區法治建設水平而努力。宋永華亦勉勵學員於學習期間要站高望遠、在追求卓越中厚植家國情懷、勤學精進,在探求新知中堅定法治信仰、靜心沉潛,在進德修業中實現人生理想。

中華人民共和國二級大法官、最高人民法院審判委員會副部級專職委員、國家法官學院院長劉貴祥致辭時感謝澳大對項目的支持。他還叮囑學員要珍惜來之不易的學習機會,嚴於律己、嚴謹治學,以優異的成績回報國家。其後,學生代表程媛媛和李煜森分別代表博士研究生和碩士研究生作表態發言。

國家法官學院副院長、最高人民法院司法案例研究院副院長雷鴻,國家法官學院副院長王曉芳,澳大法學院院長唐曉晴、校長辦公室主任汪淇等亦出席了儀式。

UM, National Judges College jointly offer training programme for Chinese senior judges

In response to the country’s need to cultivate foreign-related legal talent, the University of Macau (UM) and the National Judges College jointly offer a training programme for Chinese senior judges. The opening ceremony for this year’s programme was held today (22 September).

The Faculty of Law of UM and the National Judges College signed a cooperation agreement in 2001. According to the agreement, five to ten senior judges and 20 outstanding judges or judge assistants are admitted to the programme each year. They will study full-time at UM’s Faculty of Law to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy in Law or Master of Law. Students of the first two cohorts have published papers in various core journals in Chinese and English and achieved excellent academic results.

Yonghua Song, rector of UM, said in his speech that UM’s Faculty of Law is the first law school in Macao’s history. With a commitment to solving overarching and key problems related to the development of the country and society, the faculty has produced a number of research results that have extensive influence and are close to social needs, thus contributing to the modernisation of the country’s governance system and governance capacity, and advancing the building of the rule of law in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He also encouraged the students to embrace a broader perspective, cultivate a sense of patriotism, be diligent in their studies, and develop a steadfast belief in the rule of law in their pursuit of new knowledge.

Liu Guixiang, grand justice of the second rank, permanent member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court (vice-minister level), and president of the National Judges College, expressed his gratitude to UM for its support of the programme. He also advised the students to cherish the learning opportunities, be self-disciplined and diligent in their studies, and aim for excellent results. Student representatives Cheng Yuanyuan and Li Yusen also delivered a speech on behalf of the doctoral and master’s students respectively.

Guests attending the event also included Lei Hong, vice-president of the National Judges College and vice-president of the Judicial Cases Institute of the Supreme People’s Court; Wang Xiaofang, vice-president of the National Judges College; Tong Io Cheng, dean of the Faculty of Law of UM; and Wong Kei, director of the Rector’s Office of UM.

澳大澳門中藥檢測中心參觀市政署及自來水公司

澳門大學澳門中藥檢測中心主任李紹平、技術負責人陳肖家帶領該中心全體人員到澳門特別行政區政府市政署化驗處及澳門自來水公司化驗研究中心參觀交流,就ISO/IEC 17025實驗室認可、質量管理、檢測能力建設、儀器設備管理、樣品管理、倉庫管理等與兩所實驗室展開深入討論,藉此加強交流合作。

中心一行參觀了市政署化驗處的理化實驗室、微生物實驗室、分子生物學實驗室、樣品室及其他功能區域,深入了解化驗處日常對飲用水、泳池及泳灘水質、食品的檢測工作程序。李紹平與化驗處質量負責人李少容、實驗室微生物負責人黃泳敏進行深入交流探討,雙方均表達了加強交流合作的意願。

此外,中心一行還參觀了澳門自來水公司化驗研究中心的理化實驗室、色譜實驗室、光譜分析室、微生物研究室、細菌檢測室及其他功能區域,了解自來水公司實驗室日常對飲用水質監測分析等工作。在座談交流環節,李紹平向化驗研究中心經理趙倩寧介紹澳大中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室及中藥檢測中心的建設情况,同時就能力建設、人才培養及科研合作展開討論。雙方均表示,人才為實驗室建設的重要元素,實驗室應不斷加強自身檢測能力。另外,自來水公司企業傳訊經理陳如欣也講解了澳門的供水發展史、現時供水情況及各水廠資訊。

UM MCTCM members visit IAM and Macao Water

Li Shao Ping, director of the Macao Centre for Testing of Chinese Medicine (MCTCM) of the University of Macau (UM), and Chen Xiao Jia, technical officer of the centre, led all MCTCM members to visit the Laboratory Division of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) of the Macao SAR government and the Laboratory and Research Centre of Macao Water Supply Company Limited. They visited the laboratories, sampling rooms, and other functional areas of IAM’s Laboratory Division to gain a better understanding of the division’s daily testing procedures for drinking water, swimming pools and beaches, as well as food products. Both parties had in-depth discussions and expressed their hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in related areas. The MCTCM members also visited the laboratories and functional areas of Macao Water’s Laboratory and Research Centre to learn more about their day-to-day work in monitoring and analysing the quality of drinking water. Both parties had discussions on capacity building, talent development, and research collaboration.

澳大新一期建築業安全主任培訓課程開課

澳門大學持續進修中心和澳門特區政府勞工事務局合辦新一期《建築業安全主任培訓課程》,第一班及第二班課程分別於9月18日及10月7日開課,第三班及第四班課程將於9月25日起接受報名。

第一班及第二班課程報名踴躍,最後每班錄取35人。課程內容兼顧理論與實習,包括“職業安全”、“職業健康”、“安全管理”及“職安健法例及實務操作”四個部份,共150學時。完成課程並考核合格者,將獲頒澳大和勞工局聯合簽發的證書。

該課程已開辦61班,共1,911 人完成培訓。為配合第2/2023號法律《建築業職業安全健康法》的實施,以及考慮到職安健管理措施對建築業安全施工的重要性,本年度將繼續開辦四班《建築業安全主任培訓課程》,培訓學額約140人。

UM offers new course to train construction safety officers

The Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Macau (UM) and the Labour Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR government jointly offer a new session of the certificate course for construction safety officers. The first intake commenced on 18 September and the second intake will begin on 7 October, while the third and fourth intakes will be open for applications from 25 September. The course consists of 150 study hours and four modules, including ‘Occupational Safety’. ‘Occupational Health’, ‘Safety Management’, and ‘Occupational Safety and Health Legislation and Practices’. Participants who complete the course and pass the assessment will receive a certificate jointly issued by UM and the Labour Affairs Bureau. The four intakes this year will offer about 140 training places in total. 第17屆持久性有毒化學污染物與健康國際研討會在澳大舉行

第17屆持久性有毒化學污染物與健康國際研討會今(18)日至22日於澳門大學舉行。會議聚焦國際環境化學與生態毒理學議題熱點及其發展新趨勢,為全球有毒化學污染物研究領域的專家學者提供深度交流平台,推動國際學術界在相關領域的交流與合作。

研討會由澳門大學、香港浸會大學、中國國家科學院生態環境研究中心及澳大創科有限公司主辦,匯聚澳大利亞、加拿大、內地、香港、澳門、台灣地區等約150名代表,共同為相關領域貢獻智慧。

澳大副校長莫啓明致開幕辭時表示,持久性有毒污染物對人類及生態有重大影響,目前已受到各國政府和環境科學家的關注,成為國際環境科學研究的熱門研究領域。澳大作為是次國際研討會的主辦單位,期望能牽頭加強各地科學家在該領域的合作、技術交流及人才培養,同時提升中國的環境化學與生態毒理學治理水準,為解決國際環境有毒污染物貢獻科技力量。

研討會重點關注持久性有毒污染物的環境影響、監測和評估方法、化學分析、污染物來源與傳輸、公共傳播、對生態系統和人體健康的潛在風險、污染物治理和修復技術。來自世界各地的專家學者分享了各自研究領域的最新成果和前沿技術。除了專家演講、討論及口頭報告外,研討會更設有青年科學家獎頒獎儀式及壁報展講,藉此啟發更多相關技術發展和創新。

中央人民政府駐澳門特別行政區聯絡辦公室經濟部副部長黃聖彪、中國科學院生態環境研究中心院士及研討會主席江桂斌、澳門大學副校長徐建、澳門特區政府海事及水務局水資源管理廳規劃發展處處長陳浩和、環境保護局環境規劃評估廳環境規劃處處長吳時要、地球物理暨氣象局地震監察中心主任劉英偉、澳門大學科技學院院長須成忠和海洋科學及技術系系主任徐杰亦出席了開幕禮。

持久性有毒化學污染物與健康國際研討會自2004 年起至今已成功舉辦到第17屆,受到國際業界及學術界的重視及好評,並成為具有國際影響力的高水準會議。未來,研討會將繼續以控制及治理有毒污染物為目標,為保護人類和生態環境健康作出更大的貢獻。

17th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances & Health held at UM

The 17th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances & Health is being held at the University of Macau (UM) from today (18 September) to 22 September. The symposium focuses on hot issues and emerging trends in international environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology. It aims to provide a platform for in-depth exchanges between global experts and researchers in the field of persistent toxic substances, and to promote international academic exchanges and cooperation in related fields.

Organised by UM, Hong Kong Baptist University, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and UMTec Limited, the symposium brings together about 150 delegates from different countries and regions, such as Australia, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, who share their insights on the fields concerned.

UM Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng said in his opening remarks that persistent toxic pollutants, which have significant impacts on humans and ecosystems, have attracted the attention of governments and environmental scientists worldwide and have become a popular research field in international environmental science. As one of the organisers of the symposium, UM hopes to take the lead in strengthening cooperation, technical exchange, and talent development for scientists in the field, while improving the level of governance in environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology in China, in order to make scientific and technological contributions to the resolution of international environmental toxic pollution issues.

The symposium focuses on the environmental impacts of persistent toxic pollutants, monitoring and assessment methods, chemical analysis, sources and transport of pollutants, public communication, potential risks to ecosystems and human health, and pollutant control and remediation technologies. Experts and scholars from around the world share their latest findings and cutting-edge technologies in their respective fields of research. In addition to keynote speeches, discussions, and oral presentations, the symposium also includes the Young Scientist Award presentation and poster session to further inspire technological development and innovation in the field.

Guests attending the opening ceremony included Huang Shengbiao, deputy head of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Jiang Guibin, academician of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the founding chair of the symposium; Xu Jian, vice rector of UM; Chan Hou Wo, head of the Planning and Development Division of the Water Resources Department, Marine and Water Bureau; Ng Si Io, head of the Environmental Planning Division of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Department, Environmental Protection Bureau; Lao Ieng Wai, head of the Meteorological Monitoring Centre of the Meteorological and Geophysics Bureau; Xu Cheng-Zhong, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology of UM; and Xu Jie, head of the Department of Ocean Science and Technology of the Faculty of Science and Technology, UM.

The International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances, which was first held in 2004, is in its 17th edition this year. It has received significant attention and acclaim from the international industry and academia and has become a high-level conference with an international reputation. In the future, the symposium will continue to focus on the control and management of toxic pollutants and make greater contributions to protecting human health and the ecological environment.

澳大為金沙中國開設管理學專業文憑課程

為配合澳門特區政府經濟適度多元發展及鼓勵居民持續進修,澳門大學持續進修中心積極為多間澳門企業及機構量身訂造高端的培訓課程。當中,為金沙中國有限公司舉辦的管理學專業文憑課程今(18)日開課。

該課程由澳大持續進修中心、工商管理學院高級管理人員教育辦公室和商業研究及培訓中心合辦,設有8個單元,包括商業管理應用、科技與創新、市場營銷管理等,合共288課時。課程內容實用靈活,致力切合金沙中國員工所需;同時亦因應其學習情況及工作需要,以及對歷屆學員的觀察研究調整了課程結構,展現良好的產學研合作發展態勢。

學員龔瑞茵表示,該課程開啟了自己追求知識的大門,透過提供實用的技能和知識,如風險管理和市場分析,讓學員深入了解大型綜合度假村的運作和管理,並提升團隊合作能力和領導才能,拓寬宏觀視野。

UM offers Professional Diploma in Management Studies for Sands China

In response to the Macao SAR government’s policy of promoting economic diversification and encouraging residents to pursue continuing education, the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) of the University of Macau (UM) actively offers tailor-made high-end training programmes for several local enterprises and institutions. Among them, the Professional Diploma in Management Studies designed for Sands China Ltd commenced today.

The diploma programme is offered by the CCE in conjunction with the Executive Education Office and the Business Research and Training Center of the Faculty of Business Administration. It consists of 288 study hours and eight modules, including ‘Introduction to Business Management’, ‘Technology and Innovation’, and ‘Marketing Management’. The course content is practical and is tailor-made to meet the needs of Sands China staff. The curriculum of the programme has also been adjusted according to the learning ability and job nature of the participants, as well as the feedback from previous participants, reflecting well-developed industry-academia collaboration.

Ivy Kong, one of the participants, said that the diploma programme has opened the door for her to pursue knowledge. By offering lessons on practical skills and knowledge, such as risk management and market analysis, the programme gives the participants a deep understanding of the operation and management of large-scale integrated resorts, strengthens their teamwork and leadership skills, and broadens their horizons.

Fohn Chan, who also joined the course, said that the diploma programme covers topics such as leadership, strategy, finance, and marketing, enabling the participants to combine theories with the experience gained from the workplace, thereby enhancing their management skills and productivity. In addition, the programme offers the participants an opportunity to attend lessons with colleagues from other departments, which broadens their horizons and networks and inspires them to better cope with future challenges.

中國青年科技工作者協會走進澳大

中國青年科技工作者協會會長、東南大學常務副校長吳剛帶領中國基礎建設、深潛、超級計算機、醫學等科技領域青年人才組成的宣講團訪問澳門大學,並在該校進行“科技之光青年講堂·走進港澳”活動,與澳大師生分享中國前沿科技。

宣講團獲澳大校長宋永華、副校長莫啓明等熱情接待。宋永華表示,澳大重視青年科技人才的培養,期望與中國青年科技工作者協會共同推動科技交流合作,服務於國家和地區的發展。吳剛對澳大近年在科技領域取得的成就給予高度評價,並表示是次活動對加強內地與港澳地區青年科技工作者的交流有重要意義,期望雙方加強交流合作,弘揚科學家精神,講好科技新成就。

宣講團成員分別以“科技創新驅動引領基礎設施高質量發展”、“中國數字醫學創新發展讓人民享有公平可及的健康生活”、“探海——中國首批載人深潛潛航員的真實見聞”和“人體健康的衛士——神奇的免疫系統”為題發表演說。講堂現場座無虛席,氣氛熱烈。

Delegation from Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists visits UM

A delegation from the Chinese Association of Young Scientists and Technologists, led by Wu Gang, president of the association and vice president of Southeast University, recently visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng. The delegation consists of young scientists and technologists in fields such as infrastructure, deep-sea technologies, supercomputer, and medicine. Song looked forward to working with the association to promote exchanges and cooperation in science and technology in order to contribute to regional and national development. Wu spoke highly of the university’s scientific achievements in recent years and expressed hope that the two parties will strengthen exchanges and cooperation. The delegation also held the Tech Power Y-Talk at the university, where the delegation members gave talks on China’s frontier technologies.

澳大學人分享AI在醫學影像的最新應用

澳門大學今(14)日於大學展館演講廳舉行“澳大學人研究講壇”第13講,由澳大科技學院教授莫昇萍以“醫學影像多角度,從X光到AI”為題發表演說。講座現場座無虛席,多所中學的師生亦於線上參與。

講座上,莫昇萍生動地講述了醫學成像的起源和最新發展,並介紹了常見的臨床醫學成像方式,包括傳統X射線成像、計算機斷層掃描、超聲、磁共振成像和核醫學。她提到,醫學成像起源於倫琴X射線的發現,經過逾一個世紀的技術進步,醫學成像從二維(2D)發展到三/四維(3/4D),從解剖到功能性圖像,從局限於診斷發展到應用於治療。莫昇萍還特別分享了人工智能(AI)技術在醫學影像中的最新發展,以及醫學成像在澳門的應用。

莫昇萍是澳門醫學物理學家,她於美國約翰•霍普金斯大學取得博士學位,現任澳大科技學院電機與計算機工程系教授。她多年來致力於醫學成像物理研究,專長於單光子發射斷層掃描(SPECT)和正電子發射斷層掃描(PET)。莫昇萍曾獲北美核醫學與分子影像學會(SNMMI)頒發的“Tracy Lynn Faber Award”及“國際最佳論文獎”。

澳大近年來在研究創新方面取得了顯著成效,澳大研究服務及知識轉移辦公室因而組織開展“澳大學人研究講壇”,邀請傑出的澳大學人以通俗易懂的方式介紹其前沿研究成果,培育通過學術研究創造知識的良好氛圍,引導大眾和青年學生了解研究創新的社會意義和價值,以及與日常生活密切關聯的應用性,提升科學素養。

UM scholar gives talk on latest AI applications in medical imaging

The University of Macau (UM) today (14 September) held a talk titled ‘Viewing Medical Imaging in Multiple Angles – From X-ray to AI’ as the 13th talk of the UM Scholar Research Forum. Greta Mok, professor in the Faculty of Science and Technology, was the speaker. The talk attracted a full house of UM students and faculty members, as well as students and teachers from local secondary schools who joined the event online. During the talk, Prof Mok discussed the origins and latest developments in medical imaging and presented common clinical medical imaging modalities, including X-ray radiography, computed tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and nuclear medicine. She also talked about the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the field of medical imaging, and the application of medical imaging in Macao.

澳大公共行政博士學位課程開課

澳門大學社會科學學院舉行第三屆公共行政博士(DPA)學位課程開學禮。今屆課程招收30名來自不同行業的精英,包括立法會議員、奧運國家隊金牌運動員、企業領導、國有企業管理人員、橫琴粵澳深度合作區和澳門特區政府公務員等。

澳大副校長許敬文代表校長宋永華致歡迎辭。許敬文表示,澳大一直致力共建大灣區,將自身融入國家發展,同時積極培養具有國際影響力的優秀行政人才,為此開設了多個針對高端人才培育的應用型博士課程,其中包括公共行政博士課程,致力培養具有理論基礎和實踐能力的公共管理人才。許敬文同時寄語社會科學學院根據澳門高等教育發展趨勢和社會發展需求,培養及提升公務人員的學術素養和行政管理水平;並期望學生能夠把握澳大的師資優勢,在課程中不斷學習、探索和創新,促進公共行政領域的學術研究和智庫建設。

澳大社會科學學院院長胡偉星介紹了公共行政博士課程內容,並表示課程致力培養理論與實踐相結合的應用型人才,期望學生能夠把所學理論知識運用於實踐,解決現有公共政策的難題。

此外,澳大政府與行政學系一眾教授及該課程第一、二屆的學生亦出席開學禮。其中博士生高田、謝許陽和施劍華亦在開學禮上分享了學習收穫。他們表示,該課程提供詳細的專業理論和研究方法,包括公共行政與管理的基本概念、原理、分析工具和研究方法,為學生打下理論聯繫實際的堅實基礎。他們還強調,在課程中通過互動交流獲得了許多專業領域知識和學術意見,結交了很多良師益友,期望將來能攜手共建美好大灣區。

澳大公共行政博士課程是全國第一個中文授課的公共管理領域的專業型博士課程,旨在為澳門、粵港澳大灣區乃至全國培養出符合時代要求的公共事務管理高端人才。自2021年開辦以來,一直廣受歡迎,報讀人數每年益增。

UM holds student orientation for DPA programme

The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) of the University of Macau (UM) held an orientation for the students of the third cohort of the Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) programme. This year’s programme admitted 30 elites from various sectors, including a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Macao SAR, a former Olympic gold medallist, corporate executives, managers of state-owned enterprises, and civil servants from the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Macao SAR government. Michael Hui, vice rector of UM, said that the university offers several applied PhD programmes for high-end talent development, among which the DPA programme is designed to cultivate public administration talent who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. He expressed hope that the students will seize the learning opportunity at UM and promote academic research and the creation of think tanks in the field of public administration. Hu Weixing, dean of the FSS, introduced the content of the DPA programme and expressed hope that the students can apply their theoretical knowledge to practice and solve the problems existing in current public policies. The event was also attended by professors in the Department of Government and Public Administration and students from the first and second cohorts of the DPA programme.

為進一步推動粵港澳大灣區及澳門5G通訊技術的研究,大灣區5G產業聯盟代表團訪問澳門大學,雙方就建立5G+的生態系統、推動產學研持續穩步發展等方面展開熱烈討論。

代表團由來自澳門電訊、中銀香港、中國移動香港、阿里雲、華為、博元訊息等30多名聯盟代表及企業管理層組成,各方共同就完善大灣區5G+產業鏈及物聯網等議題發表意見。代表團亦在澳大校長宋永華及副校長徐建的陪同下,參觀澳大大學展館、模擬與混合信號超大規模集成電路國家重點實驗室及智慧城市物聯網國家重點實驗室,深入探討加強大灣區5G+產業鏈的合作與創新。

在交流會上,宋永華向代表團分享大灣區作為創新科技的重要區域,未來澳大將與聯盟加強產學研合作,共同推動5G技術的研究及技術創新,把5G技術應用在智慧交通、智慧城市、工業互聯網等領域,為大灣區及澳門經濟發展提供有力的技術及人才支持。

Delegation from Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance visits UM

To further advance the research on 5G communication technology in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Macao, a delegation from the Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance visited the University of Macau (UM). The two parties had a discussion on creating a 5G+ ecosystem and promoting the continuous and steady development of industry-academia collaboration.

The delegation consisted of more than 30 representatives from the alliance and corporate executives from CTM, Bank of China (Hong Kong), China Mobile Hong Kong, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei, and Multibyte Info, among others. The two parties expressed their views on topics such as improving the 5G+ industry chain in the Greater Bay Area and the Internet of Things. Accompanied by UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Xu Jian, the delegation visited the University Gallery, the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (SKL-AMSV), and the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City (SKL-IOTSC). They engaged in in-depth discussions on enhancing cooperation and innovation for the 5G+ industry chain in the Greater Bay Area.

During the exchange session, Song said that the Greater Bay Area is an important region for innovative technology, and UM will strengthen industry-academia collaboration with the alliance to jointly promote research and technological innovation of 5G technology, and apply the 5G technology in the fields of intelligent transportation, smart city, and industrial internet, so as to provide strong technical and talent support for the economic development of the Greater Bay Area and Macao.

Sean Lee, director and chief executive officer of China Mobile Hong Kong Co Ltd and founding chairman of the Greater Bay Area 5G Industry Alliance, said that they will continue to uphold the principle of win-win cooperation, leverage the influence of the alliance, and collaborate with academia to build a 5G industry ecosystem. He also looked forward to fostering more opportunities and potential development to the Greater Bay Area and Macao through strengthening exchanges and cooperation with UM and other higher education institutions.

UM representatives assisting in the guest reception included Xu Cheng-Zhong, dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST); Ma Shaodan, associate director of SKL-IOTSC; Gong Zhiguo, head of the Department of Computer and Information Science of the FST; Wu Yuan, associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science of the FST; and Zhou Bin, technology transfer officer of SKL-AMSV and the Institute of Microelectronics.

澳大新一期建設商務管理(工料測量)課程開課

為配合市場對工料測量專業課程的需求,澳門大學持續進修中心和英國特許土木工程測量師學會(香港分會)推出新一期建設商務管理(工料測量)高級專業文憑課程,旨在提升建築業人才競爭力,課程於今(8)日開課。

澳門建築業蓬勃發展,大量國際級建設項目落戶澳門。面對競爭,建築工程業界需要自我提升,與國際接軌。為滿足澳門成本和合同管理建設人才的需求,澳大持續進修中心期望提供一個適合澳門建築工程傳統營運方式及與國際接軌的專業課程,讓學員掌握專業知識,實現自我增值,促進建築業的發展。

該課程涵蓋建設成本和合同管理實踐和理論知識,內容包括“投標及採購”、“建築經濟”、“建築管理及創新建造技術”、“合同管理及操作”、“建築法及合約法律”及“項目研究”六個部份,共210學時。課程導師主要來自英國特許土木工程測量師學會,以面授及遙距結合形式進行。完成課程並考核合格者,將獲澳大持續進修中心和英國特許土木工程測量師學會(香港分會)聯合簽發結業證書。該證書獲英國特許土木工程測量師學會認可。

UM offers Advanced Professional Diploma in Construction Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying)

In response to the demand for professional courses in quantity surveying, the Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Macau (UM) and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) (Hong Kong Region) jointly offer the Advanced Professional Diploma in Construction Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying), and a new intake of the course commenced today (8 September). The diploma course consists of 210 study hours. The course content encompasses both practical and theoretical knowledge of construction cost planning and contract management, covering six major topics, namely, ‘procurement and tendering’, ‘construction economics’, ‘construction management and innovative construction’, ‘contract administration and practices’, ‘construction law and contract’, and ‘research project’. Participants who complete the course and pass the assessment will receive a certificate jointly issued by UM’s Centre for Continuing Education and CICES (Hong Kong Region), and the certificate is recognised by CICES.
