UM Martial Arts Team won 8 golds and 2 silvers in the “10th Macau International Wushu Festival 2024”

The “10th Macau International Wushu Festival 2024” was held successfully from 30-31 July at UM Sports Complex. UM Martial Arts Team sent 5 students to participate in 10 events and finally won 8 gold and 2 silver medals.  The details and results are shown as below:

UM Student Won 8th Place at the “2024 All China University Chess Championship”

The “2024 All China University Chess Championship” was held recently in Bengbu, Anhui. Around 25 universities from Beijing, Macau China, etc. region participated in the championship. UM Faculty of Education, Choi Kai Yau College year 1 student Yuan Yixi has completed in the women’s ranked group and eventually won the 8th place.

        很高兴代表澳门大学参加2024全国大学生国际象棋锦标赛。8岁第一次接触国际象棋时，我便喜欢上了黑白交错间智慧的碰撞，在14岁获得了全国棋协大师称号。进入大学后，在学校、老师以及家人的支持下我有了更多时间来发展我的爱好。在比赛的过程中，每一步棋的落下我都格外珍惜，但没有谁是常胜将军，一盘盘对局也让我意识到胜败乃兵家常事，重要的是那份坚持与热爱以及对胜利的渴望。国际象棋充满了未知与变数，一如我们的人生，在变化中寻找规律，在混乱中保持清醒，用冷静的头脑和敏锐的洞察力去应对生活中每一个挑战。

2024夏日競技嘉年華

主辦單位： 體育局

活動日期： 2024 年 7 月 14 日（ 星期日）

活動地點： 奧林匹克體育中心-曲棍球場

 

1. 活動簡介：

活動以康體競技比賽形式進行，參加隊伍以男女混合隊際形式參賽，5 人一隊，需在賽場上完成大會設定的遊戲項目，以最快時間到達終點。具體遊戲項目玩法以主辦單位公佈為準。

 

2. 參賽資格：

2.1 公開組：1974 年至 2009 年出生的本澳居民可自由組隊報名參加；

2.2 政府部門人員組：

       A. 凡在政府部門工作，出生在 1974 年或之後的員工，均可以組隊參加；

       B. 參賽隊伍只可由同一機構屬下之人員組隊報名參加；

2.3 每隊正選 5 人，其中最少 1 名必須為女性，最多可報 2 名後備隊員。

 

3. 賽制：

3.1 分初賽（共兩回合）、複賽及決賽進行，每輪最多 4 隊作賽，參加者需在賽道上完成各競技項目，以計時方式計算成績；

3.2 成績計算：初賽兩回合總時間最快，時間最佳的半數隊伍可晉級複賽，複賽的第五至第十名

獲頒優異獎，而複賽時間最快的 4 隊可晉級決賽，再定出冠亞季殿軍。

3.3 上述兩個組別的參加隊伍不足 8 隊，本局有權取消該組別賽事

 

4.注意事項：

4.1 活動以隊際形式進行，全隊完成賽事的成績才被計算。如因隊員受傷以致未能完成賽事，該回合便沒有成績；後補人員可在下一回合(倘有)作替補；

4.2 參賽隊伍可自行選定隊伍名稱及團隊服裝，但不可含有任何社會輿論訊息有關、或使用不雅用語等內容；

4.3 參加者必須穿著平底運動鞋作賽（嚴禁穿著釘鞋或其他尖硬的鞋子）；

4.4 違反上述規定者，可被取消參賽資格。

 

5. 報名詳情：

5.1 報名日期：即日起至 7 月 10 日 (OSA截止報名日期為7月7日 )；

5.2 每人只可報名參加一個隊伍；

5.3 報名上限為 100 隊，額滿即止；

5.4 為確保安全，參加者必須在良好健康情況下參加本活動。若有高血壓、心臟病、脊背或頸部不適、容易暈眩、懷孕或其他必須避免刺激的健康情況，請勿參加；

5.5 倘主辦單位發現有任何虛報身份資料情況，可被取消參賽資格。

UM Martial Arts Team won 1 Gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze and 7th place at the “2024 All China University Wushu Championship (grades A and B)”

The “2024 All China University Wushu Championship (grades A and B)” was held in Harbin from 2 to 9 June 2024. There were around 1,500 athletes from 256 universities participated in the championship this year.

UM Martial Arts Team sent 3 students for competing in 8 individual events and finally won 1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze and 7th place. The detailed results are shown below:

UM Martial Arts Team exchange with Foshan University

In order to enhance the skills and establish friendship with martial arts team in the Greater Bay Area, UM Martial Arts Team conducted a martial arts exchange activities with Foshan University during 20-21 April.

The activities included exchanging with the Martial Arts Team of Foshan University,  visiting the Foshan University as well as Hongsheng Memorial Hall.

UM participated in The 17th ASFAA Congress

        28 UM students and staff recently participated in the 17th ASFAA Congress hosted by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government. It was held from 14-18 March 2024 in Macau at Hotel Royal under the theme of ‘Strengthening Family Relationships through Sport for All’. The Congress aims to provide a platform for participants to engage in discussions and share insights in the field of Sport for All. This year’s event attracted over 120 participants from Macau, Mainland China and foreign countries and regions.

        The UM participants included director of Office of Sports Affairs, staff from OSA, postgraduate students and undergraduate students.
