Student Housing: Result (with Room Allocation) of Postgraduate House Accommodation Application for NEW/ RETURNING students of the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2023/2024

Dear Postgraduate Students,

Please note that the result of Postgraduate House accommodation application for NEW and Returning Postgraduate Students of the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2023/2024 (hereinafter referred to as “AY2023/2024”) with room allocation is attached below:

3 January 2024– 31 May 2024, move-out by 14:00

#For new move-in students, students are required to complete the PGH move-in procedure within the first month of the relative stay period in person (i.e. on or before 31 January 2024). Otherwise, the bedspace will be cancelled automatically. A 1-month residence fee will be charged for this kind of case.

Payment period of the PGH residence fee for 2nd semester of AY2023/2024

A debit note will be issued to the student’s ISW account around 1 month after the move-in procedure is completed. The payment period shall be subject to the e-debit note.

Notes for PGH Residence Fee:

a) Students whose application of PGH accommodation in the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024 is accepted will be required to pay their residence fee within the payment period stated in the schedule under Point B.

b) If NO residence fee is received by the payment deadline, the application will be cancelled automatically and NO bedspace will be reserved.

c) Students, who have paid the PGH residence fee and decided to move-out from PGH within the first 3 months of the residence period of the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024 (i.e. 3 January 2024 to 31 March 2024), PGH residence fee will be refunded in proportion to students ONLY with reasons of graduation, exchange (with supporting documents), medical issues (with medical certificates from hospitals in Macao). For the amount of refundable residence fee, please refer to “PGH Refund Terms and Conditions”. No refund will be given to the students who moved-out without aforesaid reasons or moved-out on or after 1 April 2024.

D. Move-in procedure

New move-in residents are required to approach to the Management Company Office# to complete the move-in procedure.

Location of the management company in each area:

– S1 to S4: S3-G003
– W32: W32-G003

Required documents:

  • One 1.5 inches passport photo
  • UM Offer Letter (if applicable) / Student ID card

Procedure:

1. Present your offer letter or student ID card to the Management Company staff.
2. Complete the Move-in Form and equipment checklist*.
3. Student will get the room key card from the management company staff.
* Please return the Move-in Form and equipment checklist to the Management Company# within 2 days of your move-in. If there is no receipt of the Move-in Form, your room key card will be deactivated. If there is no receipt of the equipment checklist, it is considered that your room equipment is in good condition and you should bear the responsibility of any damage to the equipment.

 

E. Remarks:

I. Please note that the number of bedspaces in PGH is limited, applicants should submit the application within the application period.

II. Late applications will NOT be accepted. Even if students are willing to accept the penalties, SRS will not entertain. Any decision made by SRS shall be final.

III. After renewal for existing PGH residents, the remaining bedspaces will be allocated to eligible applicants according to the approval criteria stipulated in the “Guidelines for Assessing the Applications for UM PGH Accommodation”.

IV. Students who are not offered bedspaces will be placed on a waiting list in a sequence decided according to the above-mentioned guidelines. If there are bedspaces released from students who fail to settle the payment or from students who cancel their applications, the bedspaces will be allocated according to the order of the waiting list, except for the situation mentioned in article 4 of the above-mentioned guidelines. Students will be informed of the offers by emails. Besides, those students might need to arrange off-campus accommodation themselves. For off-campus accommodation information, please refer to Student Resources Section (Student Housing) website (https://srs.sao.um.edu.mo/accommodation-news-and-updates/).

V. Arrangement of various room types for applicants who have been approved for accommodation of the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024:

V.1 Suite:

a) Married couples are eligible for suites, only if both individuals are registered UM postgraduate students.
b) When the number of available rooms is insufficient, it will be decided by a draw.
c) In case of the situation listed below, the other party of the marriage who gets approval for the application for PGH accommodation will be allocated to the bedspace in PGH buildings according to the gender.

– Either party of the marriage who have reached the maximum study period / received an eviction order / whose status have been changed to non-active, such as “graduated”, “withdrawal”, “deferred” and “inactive”, etc,
– Either party of the marriage did not submit the application for PGH accommodation;
– Either party of the marriage did not get the approval for the application for PGH accommodation;
– Either party of the marriage completes the move-out procedure.

d) SRS will assign the suite(s) randomly to successful applicants and no further adjustment would be allowed for room allocation.

V.2 Single room:

a) In case there are vacant single rooms, priority of single room allocation will be given to PhD applicants first. When the number of available rooms is insufficient, it will be decided by a draw.
b) SRS will assign the single room(s) randomly to successful applicants and no further adjustment would be allowed for room allocation.

V.3 S2-S4 shared room / W32 shared room:

a) Applicants who have already matched with a student who is currently living alone in a shared room will be arranged first. In case of any inconsistent information, both students cannot stay together and will be allocated randomly by SRS.
b) For other shared room applicants, the SRS will assign a roommate according to student’s sleeping time. Students might be assigned a roommate who has a different sleeping schedule due to room availability.
c) When the number of available rooms is insufficient, it will be decided by a draw.
d) Location arrangement of shared room(s): When the number of available bedspaces in the same location is insufficient, it will be decided by a draw. For applicants who are not successfully allocated to their preferred location, the SRS will assist to adjust their location according to actual conditions.
e) SRS will assign the shared room(s) randomly to successful applicants and no further adjustment would be allowed for room allocation.
f) Since W32 dormitory is equipped with a central cooking area, SRS strongly urges applicants who have cooking needs should choose W32 as your preferred location.

VI. For applicants who have be allocated to a single room OR a suite, the residence period will end on 31 May 2024. No matter which month students move-in / change to a single room or a suite, all single rooms and suites (including medical reasons) will be allocated all over again in June every year. If student would like to continue to stay in the same room type onward, they have to apply for single room and suite again in the application which will open at the end of February to mid-March of 2024 (the specific application period is subject to the actual announcement). The arrangement of single room / suite allocation will be subjected to the announcement in due course. Rooms are not guaranteed and are subject to the final approval.

VII. According to Article 39 of the Personnel Statue of UM and Article 18 of Chapter 7 of Regulations of the Personnel Affairs of the UM about the attribution of housing subsidy, UM staff is not eligible to receive the housing subsidy when he/she successfully applied for the housing provided by UM or any public entities, including the Student Dormitory (i.e. Postgraduate House).

VIII. Room assignment is arranged by SRS. For any room with vacant bedspaces, SRS reserves all rights to assign other students to them at any moment.

a) 若申請人的2023/2024學年第二學期住宿申請獲臨時受理,學生必須在B點時間表中列明的繳費期內繳納住宿費用。
b) 校方如果在繳費期限前未收到任何住宿費用,申請將被自動取消,且將不保留床位。
c) 若學生已繳納住宿費後決定在2023/2024學年第二學期住宿期首三個月內遷離宿舍 (即2024年1月3日至2024年3月31日),住宿費用僅退還予因下列原因遷離宿舍的同學:畢業﹑外出交流 (需附相關證明文件)﹑醫療原因 (需附上由澳門醫院發出的健康狀況證明書)。其它原因遷離宿舍的學生 或 於2024年4月1日或之後遷離宿舍的學生,住宿費將不獲退還。

新入住宿生需要到管理公司#辦理入住手續。

  • 大學錄取通知書複印本 (如適用) / 學生證

流程:

1. 向管理公司工作人員出示您的錄取通知書 / 學生證。
2. 填寫入住登記表和設備清單*。
3. 由管理公司工作人員派發房卡。

* 請在入住日後 2 天內將入住登記表和設備清單交還給管理公司#。 如果沒有收到入住登記表,您的房卡將被停用。 如果沒有收到設備清單,則視作默認房間設備狀況良好,您將承擔任何設備損壞的責任。

 

E. 申請人注意事項:

I. 由於研究生宿舍床位有限, 請務必於申請日期內進行申請。

II. 任何過期申請將不獲受理,即使同學願意接受警告處分,學生資源處亦不會接納。學生資源處將保留最終之決定權。

III. 安排續住現住宿生床位後,餘下的宿位將按《研究生宿舍住宿申請審批指引》中規定的審批準則分配予2023/2024學年第二學期合資格之申請人。

IV. 不獲安排宿位的學生將被列入候補名單,名單按上述《指引》規定的審批順序排列。若已獲批宿位的申請人逾期繳費或取消申請,其宿位將按候補名單依序遞補 (上述《指引》第四條所指的情況不在此限),學生資源處將以電郵通知候補名單上獲批宿位的申請人。此外,不獲安排宿位的學生有可能需自行安排校外住宿。有關校外住宿的基本資訊,請參閱學生資源處 (學生住宿) 網頁 (https://srs.sao.um.edu.mo/)。

V. 就獲批2023/2024學年第二學期住宿申請人之各類房型安排:

V.1 套房:

a) 套房只限夫婦雙方都是澳大註冊研究生申請。
b) 當空餘套房數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。
c) 如出現以下情況,夫婦中獲批准研究生宿舍住宿的另一方將按其性別分配至研究生宿舍內的其他房型。

– 婚姻的任何一方修讀年期屆滿、被勒令遷離宿舍或其學生狀態轉為非在學,如“畢業”、“退學”、“休學”、“不在學”等;
– 婚姻的任何一方未提交研究生宿舍住宿申請;
– 婚姻的任何一方研究生宿舍住宿申請未獲得批准;
– 婚姻的任何一方完成研究生宿舍遷離手續。

d) 套房將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配套房的申請人不允許更改房間。

V.2 單人房:

a) 若有空餘單人間,單人間分配以博士生優先,當空餘房間數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。
b) 單人間將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配單人間的申請人不允許更改房間。

V.3 S2-S4雙人房 / W32雙人房:

a) 優先安排已經自行與目前單獨住在雙人間的宿生匹配的申請人。如果發現任何不一致的信息,則兩個學生不能安排至同一房間,並由學生資源處隨機分配。
b) 其他雙人間申請人,學生資源處將參考學生提供的作息時間安排室友。視乎實際空餘的雙人間宿位情況分配,學生有可能獲分配一個與其作息時間不一致的室友。
c) 當空餘房間數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。
d) 雙人房居住區域安排:當同一區域空餘宿位數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。未能成功分配至意向區域的申請人,將按照實際房間情況由學生資源處調整居住區域。
e) 雙人房將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配雙人房的申請人不允許更改房間。
f) 由於西三十二 (W32) 宿舍設有中央煮食區,學生資源處強烈呼籲有煮食需求的申請人,應選擇申請W32宿舍。

VI. 申請人若被安排入住單人房或套房,住宿期限到2024年5月31日為止。無論學生於任何月份入住單人間或套房,單人間和套房 (包括健康等個人原因) 將於每年6月重新分配。學生如需繼續留於同一房型,需在2024年2月下旬至3月中旬期間開放之申請中再次選擇該房型 (具體申請期以實際公佈為準),房間分配安排按當時公佈為準。 房型不保證能成功分配,以最終批准為準。

VII. 按照《澳門大學人員通則》第三十九條及《澳門大學人事管理規章》第七章第九條,澳門大學工作人員若於享有由澳大或任何公共實體所提供的房屋(包括學生宿舍,如研究生宿舍)則無權享有房屋津貼。

VIII. 房間分配由學生資源處安排。對於任何空置床位,學生資源處保留任何時候分配床位之最終決定權。

Dear Postgraduate students,

The application of Postgraduate House (PGH) accommodation for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 2023/2024 (hereinafter referred to as “AY2023/2024”) is now opened for NEW and Returning Postgraduate Students* from 14 November 2023 to 20 November 2023. Details of the application are as follows:

A. Eligible Applicants: NEW PG students, resuming PG students and returning active PG students* who need an accommodation at the Postgraduate House for the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024, but the following courses are excluded:

  • Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)
  • Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
  • Doctor of Education (EdD/DED)
  • Doctor of Public Administration (DPA)
  • Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma Programmes
    *If you are currently staying in our Postgraduate House dormitory, you DO NOT need to submit this application. Eligible residents will have their accommodation automatically renewed.

D. Application Procedure:

For NEW PG students and resuming PG students who will be admitted in the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024, please note that the application form has been sent by email. Students who need on-campus accommodation should follow the instructions stated in the email and submit the application within the specified period.

I. Log-in at: https://go.um.edu.mo/z1774fil; input your student ID no. and password.
(To ensure that you can read the full terms and conditions of application, it is recommended to use a computer to browse)
II. Fill in the on-line application form;
III. Ensure the application information is filled-in correctly before submission as changes are not permitted once the submission is made;
IV. Upon completion, click “YES” and you will see this “GREEN TICK” for a successful submission;

V. Students will receive a confirmation email in their UM student email accounts after the application form is successfully submitted.
VI. If NO confirmation is received, which means the delivery of application is unsuccessful, students should contact SRS to review the application and re-submit again. Otherwise, the accommodation request will not be considered after the application period.
VII. Applicants with Macao Resident Identity Card who do not have a residence in Macao must also fill out the “Declaration of No Residence in Macao” and send it to sao.pgh@um.edu.mo. Application will not be considered due to late submission or declaration.

VIII. Notes for Application Procedure:

a) Each applicant can only fill in one (1) application form. If more than one (1) applications were received, only the earliest submission will be taken into account.
b) Students should read and complete the form carefully.
c) Please ensure the application information is filled-in correctly before submission, as changes are not permitted after submission.
d) The alert will pop-up at the top-left corner if there is any missing field.
e) This form serves as application only; the final arrangement is subjected to availability and the draw result.

a) Students whose application of PGH accommodation in the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024 is accepted will be required to pay their residence fee within the payment period stated in the schedule under Point B.
b) If NO residence fee is received by the payment deadline, the application will be cancelled automatically and NO bed space will be reserved.
c) Students, who have paid the PGH residence fee and decided to move-out from PGH within the first 3 months of the residence period of the 2nd semester of AY2023/2024 (i.e. 1 January 2024 to 31 March 2024), PGH residence fee will be refunded in proportion to students ONLY with reasons of graduation, exchange (with supporting documents), medical issues (with medical certificates from hospitals in Macao). For the amount of refundable residence fee, please refer to “PGH Refund Terms and Conditions”. No refund will be given to the students who moved-out without aforesaid reasons or moved-out on or after 1 April 2024.

#請新入住同學必須在住宿期第一個月內親自辦理的入住宿舍手續。否則,研究生宿舍將取消學生的住宿申請,並會收取一個月的住宿費。

2023/2024學年第二學期的住宿費用繳費期

電子繳費單將於入住一個月後通過學生資訊系統 (https://isw.umac.mo/siweb/) 發送至學生的帳戶。繳費期按電子繳費單上所示為準。

C. 申請人注意事項:

I. 由於研究生宿舍床位有限, 請務必於申請日期內進行申請。
II. 任何過期申請將不獲受理,即使同學願意接受警告處分,學生資源處亦不會接納。學生資源處將保留最終之決定權。
III. 安排續住現住宿生床位後,餘下的宿位將按《研究生宿舍住宿申請審批指引》中規定的審批準則分配予2023/2024學年第二學期合資格之申請人。
IV. 不獲安排宿位的學生將被列入候補名單,名單按上述《指引》規定的審批順序排列。若已獲批宿位的申請人逾期繳費或取消申請,其宿位將按候補名單依序遞補 (上述《指引》第四條所指的情況不在此限),學生資源處將以電郵通知候補名單上獲批宿位的申請人。此外,不獲安排宿位的學生有可能需自行安排校外住宿。有關校外住宿的基本資訊,請參閱學生資源處 (學生住宿) 網頁 (https://srs.sao.um.edu.mo/)。
V. 就獲批2023/2024學年第二學期住宿申請人之各類房型安排:

V.1 套房:

a) 套房只限夫婦雙方都是澳大註冊研究生申請。
b) 如出現以下情況,夫婦中獲批准研究生宿舍住宿的另一方將按其性別分配至研究生宿舍內的其他房型。

– 婚姻的任何一方修讀年期屆滿、被勒令遷離宿舍或其學生狀態轉為非在學,如“畢業”、“退學”、“休學”、“不在學”等;
– 婚姻的任何一方未提交研究生宿舍住宿申請;
– 婚姻的任何一方研究生宿舍住宿申請未獲得批准;
– 婚姻的任何一方完成研究生宿舍遷離手續。

c) 套房將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配套房的申請人不允許更改房間。

V.2 單人房:

a) 若有空餘單人間,單人間分配以博士生優先,當出現同分但空餘房間數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。
b) 單人間將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配單人間的申請人不允許更改房間。

V.3 S2-S4雙人房 / W32雙人房:

a) 優先安排已經自行與目前單獨住在雙人間的宿生匹配的申請人。如果發現任何不一致的信息,則兩個學生不能安排至同一房間,並由學生資源處隨機分配。
b) 其他雙人間申請人,學生資源處將參考學生提供的作息時間安排室友。視乎現場實際空餘的雙人間宿位情況分配,學生有可能獲分配一個與其作息時間不一致的室友。
c) 當空餘套房數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。
d) 雙人房居住區域安排:當同一區域空餘宿位數量不足時,將以抽籤方式作決定。未能成功分配至意向區域的申請人,將按照實際房間情況由學生資源處調整居住區域。
e) 雙人房將由學生資源處隨機分配,獲分配雙人房的申請人不允許更改房間。
f) 由於西三十二  (W32) 宿舍設有中央煮食區,學生資源處強烈呼籲有煮食需求的申請人,應選擇申請W32宿舍。

VI. 申請人若被安排入住單人房或套房,住宿期限到2024年5月31日為止。無論學生於任何月份入住單人間或套房,單人間和套房 (包括健康等個人原因) 將於每年6月重新分配。學生如需繼續留於同一房型,需在2024年2月下旬至3月中旬期間開放之申請中再次選擇該房型 (具體申請期以實際公佈為準),房間分配安排按當時公佈為準。 房型不保證能成功分配,以最終批准為準。
VII. 按照《澳門大學人員通則》第三十九條及《澳門大學人事管理規章》第七章第九條,澳門大學工作人員若於享有由澳大或任何公共實體所提供的房屋(包括學生宿舍,如研究生宿舍)則無權享有房屋津貼。
VIII. 房間分配由學生資源處安排。對於任何空置床位,學生資源處保留任何時候分配床位之最終決定權。

D. 提交申請程序:

將於2023/2024學年第二學期入學的新生或復學生請注意,住宿申請表已透過電郵方式發出。如需申請校內住宿,必須按照電郵指示在指定期限內提交申請,逾期遞交申請恕不受理。

II. 填寫電子表格;
III. 請同學確認其填寫的資料是正確無誤 , 所有資料提交後不得修改;
IV. 填妥表挌後,點擊“YES”提交並出現以下 “綠色剔號”成功提交頁面;

V. 成功提交住宿申請後,同學 (澳大學生電郵) 將會收到一封確認電郵。 否則,請查看您的申請並重新提交;
VI. 未有收到確認電郵,則表示申請未能成功提交,學生應聯繫學生資源處審查申請並再次提交。 否則,申請期過後將不受理申請;

VIII. 申請手續須知:

a) 每個名申請人只能填寫一份申請表。 如果收到超過一份申請,則以第一份申請為準。

Dear Postgraduate Students,

Further to application results announced on 8 May 2023, please be informed of the attached the Final Result (with room allocation and room change arrangement) of PGH application for 1st semester of AY2023/2024 (For existing PG applicants only).

A. Room allocation results of PGH application for 1st semester of AY2023/2024

The room allocation list includes the following students:

1) Applicants on the accepted application list which was announced on 8 May 2023;
2) Since bedspaces were released from students who failed to settle payments or from students who had cancelled their applications, the released bedspaces have been reallocated to :

    • Remaining PhD applicants who are within the normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2023/2024.
    • PhD applicants who are beyond normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2023/2024
    • The top 155 Master’s students who are within normal study period in the 1st semester of AY2023/2024

For students who are not offered a bedspace:

If there are bedspaces released from new students who did not come to UM, the bedspaces will be allocated according to the order of the waiting list (LINK), except for the situation mentioned in article 4 of the “Guidelines for Assessing the Applications for UM PGH Accommodation“. In order to meet the accommodation needs of existing students, once bedspaces become available, the Student Resources Section will continue to notify applicants on the waiting list with the offer of a bedspace by email and in batches on or before 31 October 2023.

Students who are not offered a bedspace should arrange off-campus accommodation themselves. The Student Affairs Office provides the following service and information, and will provide as much support as possible:

C. Information of Residence Fee:

I. For new move-in students, please be reminded to complete the PGH move-in procedure within the first month of the relative stay period in person. Otherwise, your bedspace will be cancelled automatically. A one-month residence fee will be charged for this kind of case.

II. If students are assigned to a room type which is different from the one they are staying in during the summer stay period. The residence fee of the month which students are required to complete the room change procedure will be charged according to the room type with HIGHER room rate. A new debit note will be sent separately to students for the room rate difference of the semester.

III. Students who have paid the PGH residence fee but decided NOT to move-into PGH in the 1st semester of AY2023/2024, are required to send a written request to Student Resources Section (SRS) for approval before the start of the residence period (i.e. on or before 31 July 2023). For the amount of refundable residence fee, please refer to “PGH Refund Terms and Conditions”.

IV. Students who have paid the PGH residence fee and decided to move-out of PGH within the first 3 months of the residence period of 1st semester of AY2023/2024 (i.e. 1 August 2023 to 31 October 2023), PGH residence fee will be refunded in proportion to students ONLY with reasons of graduation, exchange (with supporting documents), medical issues (with medical certificates from hospitals in Macao). D. Procedure for Room Change:

1) Before performing the room change, student should…

– Remove all personal belongings and garbage, otherwise, Garbage Removal Fee (MOP 370 per person) will be imposed.
– Restore the room to its original condition, otherwise, Cleaning Fee (MOP 420 per room) will be imposed.
– Clear and tidy the common area (eg. bathroom) even the other student in the same room has not moved out.

2) During the room change period…

(a) Student should…
– Approach the Management Company Office# for the newly assigned room, present your student ID to the staff and fill in the Room Change Form.
– Collect the new room key card.
– Check the new room and complete the equipment checklist to confirm the condition of the new room. The checklist must be returned to the Management Company Office# for the newly assigned room within 3 days. If the checklist is not received, it is assumed that the room is in good condition and student should bear the responsibility for any damage or loss of equipment.
– Return the old room key card to the staff of Management Company Office# for the previous room.
– Compensate any damaged or lost property in the previous room.

– In case you are unable to change to the new room in person, you may choose to authorize another UM student to perform the room change procedure on your behalf. To perform the authorization process, please fill in the authorization form and attach the ID copies of both parties and hand them to the Management Company during the appointment.

(b) Management Company staff will…
– Check the cleanliness / conditions of the current room according to the equipment checklist.
– Record the electricity and water meter readings for any excess usage.

E. Remarks:

I. The following summer stay students are required to move out from PGH on or before 24 July 2022, 14:00, but is subject to change in view of the epidemic situation.

a) PGH residents whose applications have been accepted but did NOT settle the residence fee of 1st semester of AY2022/2023 on time;
b) PGH residents who did not apply for the accommodation of 1st semester of AY2022/2023;
c) PGH residents whose application of 1st semester of AY2022/2023 were not approved.

II. Requests for extension of stay will not be considered.

III. Move-out procedure: students must reserve the move-out appointment at the PGH Management Company (S3-G003) at least 72 hours (3 days) before the move-out date, if not, a handling fee of MOP500 will be charged. 

E.g. If a student would like to move-out on 24 July (11:00am), he/she shall make the reservation via the Management Company on/before 21 July (11:00am).

– PGH residents must return their room keys or cards and any other UM properties and pay all related fees and fines upon move-out.
– Students are required to remove their personal belongings and garbage in the room before move-out. Otherwise, their belongings in the room will be disposed and the Garbage Removal Fee (MOP370 per person) will be charged.

IV. Overstay penalty: For students who did not move-out of PGH by the date stated in Point E-I, their room cards will be deactivated and an eviction order will be issued to overstayed students. Moreover, the student will be charged the residence fee of the relative residence period and an extra overstay penalty (MOP440/suite/per night, MOP220/single room/per night and MOP155/student in a shared room/per night) according to the type of the occupied room until the completion of accommodation application or the move-out procedure.

For those residents who have moved out of PGH WITHOUT performing the move-out procedure, UM shall not only take relevant disciplinary actions, handling fees will also be charged. UM will charge the residence fee and overstay penalty until the move-out procedure is completed.

V. According to Article 39 of the Personnel Statue of UM and Article 9 of Chapter 7 of Regulations of the Personnel Affairs of the UM about the attribution of housing subsidy, UM staff is not eligible to receive the housing subsidy when he/she successfully applies for the housing provided by UM or any public entities, including the Student Dormitory (i.e. Postgraduate House).

VI. Room assignment is arranged by SRS. For any room with vacant bedspace, SRS reserves all rights to assign other students to them at any moment.

A. 2023/2024學年第一學期研究生宿舍房間分配結果

1) 於2023年5月8日公佈的受理名單上之申請人;
2) 由於有部分獲批宿位的申請人逾期繳費或取消申請,目前釋出的床位已遞補至:

    • 在2023/2024學年第一學期超出正常修讀期限的博士生

D. 轉房手續:

1) 學生必須先…

– 清除所有個人物品和垃圾,否則,將需繳付垃圾處理費(每人澳門元370元)。
– 將原房間恢復原狀,否則,將需繳付清潔費(每間客房澳門元420元)。
– 即使同一房間中的另一個宿生沒有搬出,亦需清潔公共區域(例如浴室)。

2) 在轉房期間:

(a) 學生必須…

– 前來新房間所屬大樓的管理公司#向職員出示學生證並填妥轉房表。
– 拿取新的房間鑰匙卡。
– 檢查新房間,在設備清單上確認宿舍設備是否整備,並在入住三天內將清單交予新房間的管理公司#,不如期或沒有交還則視作默認房間狀況良好。如果有任何遺漏或損壞,將於退宿時收取相關費用或罰金。
– 將原房間匙卡交還給原房間所屬大樓的管理公司#的職員。
– 賠償原房間內任何損壞或遺失的物品 (如有)。
– 如果宿生無法親自轉房,則可以授權另一名澳大學生辦理轉房手續。 請宿生先行填妥授權書並附上雙方身份證的副本,並在轉房期間將授權書交予管理公司。

(b) 管理公司職員將…

– 根據設備清單檢查當前房間的清潔度/狀況。
– 記錄電錶和水錶的讀數是否有超額用量。

E. 備註:

I. 下列暑期住宿學生需於2023年7月24日14:00或之前完成退宿手續:

a) 未能在繳費期內支付2023/2024學年第一學期住宿費之宿生;
b) 沒有提交2023/2024學年第一學期住宿申請之宿生;
c) 2023/2024學年第一學期住宿申請未獲受理之宿生。

II. 學生資源處不接受任何延長住宿期之申請。

III. 遷離宿舍手續:宿生在正式遷離研究生宿舍前,須至少提前三天於管理公司預約遷離手續及填寫研究生宿舍遷離宿舍表。否則,學生將被徵收澳門元500元行政費。

例如:同學計劃在7月24日(上午11:00)遷離宿舍,他必須在7月21日(上午11:00)或之前到管理公司預約退宿,否則,他將須繳付澳門元500元行政費。

– 宿生在遷離研究生宿舍時,必須歸還房間鑰匙或門卡以及任何其他澳門大學財產,並支付所有相關費用和罰款。
– 學生應於退宿日前清除房間內所有個人物品及垃圾,否則房間裡的物品將被丟棄,且須繳付垃圾處理費(澳門元370元/每人)。

IV. 逾期遷出費用:如果宿生未能在E-I點規定的日期或之前離開研究生宿舍,宿生持有的房卡將被停用,且宿生將被勒令立即遷離宿舍。此外,該宿生將被徵收該學期相應的住宿費用,且需額外按其佔用的房間類型繳付逾期遷出費(澳門元440元/套房/每晚,澳門元220元/單人間/每晚,澳門元155元/雙人間/每晚/每人)直至相應遷離宿舍手續辦妥為止。

對於未完成退宿手續便擅自離開宿舍的宿生,澳門大學將採取相關的紀律處分,並向相關學生徵收手續費。學生將須繳付住宿費及逾期遷出費直至相應手續辦妥為止。

V. 按照《澳門大學人員通則》第三十九條及《澳門大學人事管理規章》第七章第九條,澳門大學工作人員若於享有由澳大或任何公共實體所提供的房屋(包括學生宿舍,如研究生宿舍),則無權享有房屋津貼。

VI. 房間分配由學生資源處安排。對於任何空置床位,學生資源處保留任何時候分配床位之最終決定權。
