Activity Highlights

The 4th “Badminton Fans Cup” Badminton Competition organized by Badminton Club of UMSU and MUSTSU was successfully held from 2-4 Nov at MUST Sports Pavilion and Badminton Hall of UM.

The competition events included Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles. There were 86 student participants (26 participants from UM and 60 participants from MUST) attending the event, they shared that they enjoyed the match not only playing the sports but also knowing new friends, friendship has been established.

The competition result is as follows:

This was a good platform for club members in terms of sports and social aspects. In addition, friendship has been enhanced and they could further build up their network mutually in different areas.

2024 UM Sports Fest – Medalist of Track and Field Competition

We are pleased to share with you that the Track and Field Competition (Student Category, Staff and Alumni Category) was successfully held on 16 & 19 Oct. On 16 Oct, we arranged long jump for student category while the other running events (100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 4 x 100m relay) were arranged on 19 Oct. Other than competition events, we held a “N9 Funny Walk” for UM members and their family for participation and the atmosphere is very good.

2024 UM Sports Fest, from 28 Sep – 27 Oct 2024, was jointly organized by

• Office of Sports Affairs (OSA)
• UMSU Sports Association (UMSU SPA)
• UM Staff Sports Club (UMSSC)
• 20 UMSU Sports Sub-clubs

This year, we arranged to have 24 activities (9 sports experience and 15 competition events), including American Football, Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Diabolo, Dragon Boat, Fencing, Football, Judo, Karate, Kinball, Korfball, Orienteering, Rock Climbing, Rowing, Squash, Table Tennis, Tchoukball, Tennis, Track and Field, and Volleyball)..
