Orbis is organising a campaign titled ‘Give the Gift of Sight, Donate a Red Packet’. Giving a red packet is a meaningful way to pass on your good wishes to the recipient in the new year. Your support will help to change the lives of people with eye diseases and save them from blindness!

Call for donations to support earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

More than 30,000 people have been killed or injured across Turkey and Syria due to a devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck on 6 February, the largest one in the region in 100 years. A large number of victims are still trapped alive or buried under piles of rubble as many buildings have collapsed.
According to the news, the disaster zone is facing a very critical situation, and the victims are in immediate need of aid such as tents, shelters, food, and healthcare services. Therefore, your generous donations to help those affected by the earthquake are greatly appreciated.

土耳其南部與敘利亞北部交界處在當地時間2月6日清晨發生該區域百年來最大地震，傷亡人數已超過3萬人，由於許多建築物倒塌，仍有大批民眾受困瓦礫堆下。
根據報導，目前災情非常嚴峻，災民迫切需要帳篷、庇護所、食品、衛生服務等援助，因此，救援工作刻不容緩，現請大家伸出援手，捐款支援受災民眾，為他們送上一點溫暖和慰藉，協助他們度過目前困境，盡快重建家園。

Call for Donation: The “Oasis Action 2023”! (Deadline: 28 Feb, Tue)

Dear colleagues and students,
The Oasis Action 2023 is now calling for donations. This annual charity event is organised by the Chinese Educators Association of Macau to improve the living conditions of children in impoverished regions and regions affected by desertification in China. After the Chinese New Year, your donations will be used for subsiding the tuition fees and living cost of poor children and providing computers and teaching equipment for less privileged schools. Make a donation now!
