Civil servants are permitted to enter casinos during Chinese New Year holiday

Dear Colleagues,

Please be informed that according to the dispatch of the Chief Executive dated 9 Jan 2025,  personnel of public administration have been granted permission to enter casinos of the Macau SAR during the Chinese New Year. This dispatch is also applicable to UM staff members.

The permission for entrance covers the period between 20:00 of 28 Jan 2025 (Tuesday) and 00:00 of 1 Feb 2025 (Saturday). Personnel of public administration who have already entered the casinos within the above mentioned period are allowed to stay there until 02:00 of 1 Feb 2025.

Enclosed please find a copy of the official letter from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau about the captioned subject for your information.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government collaborates with the Palace Museum to present the Palace of Double Brilliance: Special Exhibition from the Palace Museum. Showcasing a grand array of precious cultural at the Macao Museum of Art. Details are as follows:

About SAFP Welfare Association:

In general, according to Regulamento Administrativo n.º30/2022, UM colleagues and their family members (those with family subsidy) will be automatically registered as a member of SAFP Welfare Association, who can bind their beneficiary card to the e-Card Pack of “Macao One Account” in order to enjoy the related benefits. For details, please refer to the poster (Attachment 2).
