In order to enhance UM staff members’ understanding of the nation, the Human Resources Section of the Office of Administration organized in-house training courses on “Contemporary Notion and Strategies for the Practice of One Country, Two Systems”, “Smart Cities and Data Governance in the Chinese Mainland” and “Flags and Emblems of the People’s Republic of China and the Macao SAR” on 28 June, 3 July and 5 July 2023 respectively.

Prof. LOK Wai Kin, Director of the Centre for Constitutional Law and Basic Law Studies of the Faculty of Law (FLL), shared the new concept, the latest practice and the new strategies of implementation of “One Country, Two Systems” as a safeguard for national sovereignty, security and development, as well as the stable development and prosperity of the Macao SAR. Over 60 colleagues attended the training.

Prof. SHUI Bing, Associate Director of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of the Public Administration Training Centre and Professor of the FLL, shared the considerations of data governance during the construction of smart cities’ infrastructures in Chinese Mainland, as well as the ways for legally protecting the safety of data transferring. Around 120 colleagues attended the training.

Dr. KONG Wa, Senior Instructor of the FLL, introduced the history, design, features and meanings of the flags and emblems of the People’s Republic of China and the Macao SAR, as well as their legal protection. Over 80 colleagues participated in the course.

The University hopes that these training courses can enhance staff members’ understanding of national security, strengthen their knowledge on the development of smart cities and data governance, arouse their interest in the national and regional flags and emblems, promoting patriotism and national pride.

為增強大學教職員對國家的認識，行政部人力資源處於2023年6月28日、7月3日及7月5日分別舉辦了「一國兩制實踐的新理念及新戰略」、「內地智慧城市與數據治理」及「認識中國的國旗國徽及澳門特區的區旗區徽」內部培訓課程。

法學院憲法與基本法研究中心主任駱偉建教授介紹了一國兩制實施的新理念 、新實踐及服務於國家的新戰略，以維護國家的主權、安全和發展利益，保持特區的穩定發展和繁榮。超過60名員工參與此培訓。

人文社科高等研究院副院長、公共行政培訓中心主任及法學院教授稅兵教授分享了內地智慧城市建設當中的數據治理考量，以及如何讓民眾充分享受數據便利的同時享有法律的保障。約120名員工參與此培訓。

法學院高級導師江華博士介紹了中華人民共和國的國旗與國徽，以及澳門特別行政區的區旗與區徽的歷史緣起、設計、特徵、意義和相關法律保護。超過80名員工參與此課程。

大學希望透過上述培訓課程加強員工對國家安全的認識，提升其對智慧城市與數據治理的瞭解，以及對國旗與國徽、區旗與區徽的興趣，弘揚愛國愛澳精神，並增強他們的民族自豪感及家國情懷。

The application and approval processes will be done through the G2E Platform by logging in “Personnel Login Account (工作人員登入號)” with the steps illustrated below:

[Handouts & Photos] 2023 Administrative Workshop (2): Introduction to the Official Letter and Document Management System (Phase III) – Confidential Documents

On 19 June 2023, the Human Resources Section (HRS) of the Office of Administration organized the Administrative Workshop (2): Introduction to the Official Letter and Document Management System (Phase III) – Confidential Documents. Representatives from the HRS introduced and demonstrated the new functions of handling confidential letters and documents in the Official Letter and Document Management System. Around 80 colleagues attended the workshop.

“Administrative Workshops” is a series of seminars/briefings open to administrative colleagues that aims at enhancing work efficiency and enriching the skills of administrative professionals at the University.
