Communications Office organises Public Relations Practices Sharing Workshop

為了加強與各部門的溝通，提升同事對公共關係工作的認知，傳訊部自去年5月開始，為學院、書院及行政部門舉辦了34場公共關係實務分享工作坊，超過200名同事參與培訓。工作坊針對各部門的日常在公共關係工作需求進行交流，內容涵蓋撰寫新聞稿、挑選照片、宣傳策略、嘉賓接待禮儀及大學形象使用等主題。

另外，傳訊部於2010年成立大學公關工作小組，由各部門委派負責公關、新聞、接待工作的同事組成，目前成員共有83名，為加強對外宣傳提供的統一性，和擔當部門與部門之間的溝通橋樑。

To strengthen communication with different units and enhance colleagues’ understanding of public relations, the Communications Office (CO) has organised 34 Public Relations Practices Sharing Workshops for faculties, residential colleges, and administrative units since May 2023, with over 200 colleagues attending. The workshops enable participants to exchange views on PR-related tasks, covering topics such as press release writing, photo selection, promotional strategies, guest reception protocols, and the use of the university’s identifiers.

In addition, CO established the University PR Task Force (UPRTF) in 2010, with 83 members responsible for public relations, media relations, and guest reception in their respective units. The aim of the task force is to provide guidance on consistency of promotion and hoping members can act as the bridge of communication between different units.
